Edit: Unfortunately, I have to edit this review. I used this company for the second half of my move, from storage into the new house, and found many of my items to have been scratched, broken, or boxes crushed that said "handle with care." I was also told that the additional money I was charged the first move for furniture pads could be refunded if i used them again.
I did, but received nothing. I sent an email to the owner the next day and received a response that it would be looked into and would get a reply in a week or so. That was August 18th. I emailed again on October 9th to see if there was any update. I never received a response. It is now November 20th and I still haven't heard anything. Great experience.
The guys were fast, careful, efficient, and friendly. And Jackson must have answered a hundred questions and requests from me over the weeks and was always helpful and friendly. Will be using them again!

Monarch movers were wonderful and I highly recommend them. They are the most caring and kind movers when they moved my mom to assisted living. They offered to help in so many ways and come back to get boxes we didn't need. They moved us quickly and professionally. Best moving team. I would definitely call them again if I needed another move.

So I have to say the movers were very nice. They asked me to go get drinks for them, so I did.when I returned, they had the unit full and all I could see were boxes that blocked my view into the unit. I withheld my rating until I could return to my unit. Family emergency health reasons delayed my return. I returned today and removed the boxes blocking the door to find a mess. it's Horrible!
My stuff is basically just thrown into the unit.not placed or packed. I have pictures and will post on Facebook if this isn't made right. Update: The owner is communicating with me and will work towards a satisfactory resolution. I will change my rating based on the outcome.

The guys were professional, quick, and did a great job taking care of all of our furniture and belongings. We had several large antique pieces, and the team was very careful to wrap and package those well. They also brought extra packing supplies just in case we needed them last minute, which we did. We also really appreciated that they put everything several inches forward from the wall, ensuring no damage/scuffs, while also allowing us easy opportunity to identify outlets in making final decisions about where exactly things should go. All in all, a good experience. We'd definitely use them again.

Monarch movers were amazing! Phil, Marquis and the other two gentlemen were awesome! They moved my entire 3rd for walk up with speed and efficiency not to mention they did it with smiles the entire time! I had to call and change my date several times and Wayne and Jackson were very understanding and accommodating. I will definitely recommend Monarch Movers to everyone!

I hired 2 men to load all of my belongings into a moving van. The men sent from Monarch Movers were true professionals, taking their time to gently move my antiques and other belongings. They were friendly, but obviously focused on making the move easy for me. They are also cost conscious, didn't waste time, which would have increased my cost.

We used Monarch to move back in May. We had an awesome experience. The gentlemen that came to our house were kind, professional and worked quickly to get things done. We felt like Wayne, the owner, was responsive and alleviated all of our fears (first time using a moving company). We will definitely use them in the future! I have already recommended them to my friends.

A1 best moving company. They provided everything you could ask for and more! They came out quickly for a quote. They were flexible with our schedule. The team of 5 were fast, efficient, courteous, personable, friendly, cautious and helpful. The gave suggestions as to where to place furniture and also gave us basic homeowners advice. They covered the floors and padded the doorway. They broke down and set up everything to the exact location we wanted it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move and we will use them again! Thanks!

This company is expensive relative to other removal companies, and it was a complete rip-off. I wouldn't use this company again and wouldn't recommend them. They had recently moved a friend of mine, and she said they'd taken care of the whole move for her without problems. One of her concerns was hiring someone that would disassemble and reassemble her furniture correctly, which they apparently did.
I wanted a smooth move with minimal damage, without the hassle of having to disassemble and reassemble furniture, and all packing materials provided; therefore, I was willing to pay the high price for the convenience. That's why I chose this company.
Mistake. My friend had a totally different experience than I had. Although packing materials were provided, not nearly enough was.
Even after requesting more, I still didn't have enough to wrap expensive paintings and protect my nicer furniture. The price I paid included chipped furniture and more than just minor scratches on frames, etc. They'll tell you that they'll cover furniture, paintings, etc. In blankets in their van. I unfortunately was the only one there that day and wasn't able to monitor everything as it was loaded in their van.
By the time I saw my paintings being scooted across the bottom of the van without protection underneath, it was too late as most everything else had already been loaded. I hoped there'd be no damage, but there was. The movers themselves were patient and accommodating while placing furniture in my new place. However, there were 3 of them, and I was unfortunately unable to monitor what the one reassembling some of my furniture was doing.
I found out too late that the reassembly of my bed and rolling drawers underneath it resulted in very loose screws to the point that the wheels were falling off the drawers. I eventually had to redo it all myself. After the move was completed I discovered sizable chips in the door frames in my new place, scratches on some of the walls, as well as on my furniture, which apparently occurred while things were being moved in/out.
The base of my pine wardrobe had actually collapsed on itself. When I contacted this company afterwards regarding the damages, I was told I'd waited too late to inform them and that insurance had run out. Fair enough, except that I was told they'd be in contact so that the issues could be further discussed. They never contacted me. I contacted them 3 more times so I could arrange for them to pickup the packing materials, such as the cardboard boxes, which they specifically advertised as doing.
Every time I called, I was told that they'd be in touch the next time they were in the area. After a few weeks I gave up and arranged to have everything taken to the recycling center myself. If this bad experience were just limited to the damage, I could chalk it all up to bad luck with the specific movers they sent out that day. However, the negative experience went across the board from the movers to the delivery of the packing material to the communication (and lack thereof) with their office.
