This company was appointed by John Lewis insurance to put my possessions into storage after a flood. They had my things in storage for about 3 months. They failed to wrap them before removing them from my home. A lot of things were just shoved in boxes. I found them broken when I unpacked. My furniture was plonked in the road (it should have gone straight into the lorry and they did the same on its return) and when my things came back, several items were damaged.
Its not just the one item. From split plastic boxes to damaged furniture. Even plugs got broken on items THEY just shoved into boxes. They refuse to take responsibility for the damages and I got a paltry sum as compensation which has taken 2 years to receive. 2 years of stress, endless fighting and living with wonky drawers with damaged feet. I have been left 800 out of pocket as I had to pay for my furniture to be replaced myself even though John Lewis insurance arranged for them to move my things. John Lewis insurance use RSA.
At one point I was offered a paint job to touch up the chipped feet on my bedroom furniture so that does mean you accepted responsibility! I am baffled as to why I had to pay to replace my furniture which was damaged by Bonners and an insurance company appointed them in the first place. It's shocking that they are saying they didn't do it and that my things were damaged before they took them.
I have photos as proof. They never even came to look at the damage. Just fobbed me off. I expect the 3 men employed by them still treat peoples belongings like they treated mine. Like dirt. Every time I leave a review on Trust pilot they have it removed. Which is so wrong. You can't just pick nice reviews Bonners! Don't use Bonners removals and don't use John Lewis Insurance. You have been warned.

Moved my home contents from Cambridge to Darwin in Australia. Many positives about this company. Very competitive quotes and excellent customer service by Adam Pengally. The company responds to all queries immediately. Our items were delayed by few weeks but then this is understandable when you move abroad in the midst of a pandemic. Except for a minor damage in an item, everything else arrived safely. I won't hesitate to use them again. Job well done

I recently moved from Australia back to London. The company I used in Australia partnered with Doree Bonner locally. I hadn't heard of them and was nervous as the company in Australia ended up being horrible in customer service. Luckily Doree Bonner and their employees were extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and timely. The contact I worked with through email was excellent and responsive. The gentleman who delivered my goods was friendly, on-time (even willing to come earlier) and quick. I would definitely use them if I move again.

Everything about this move was brilliant. Moving house contents from storage in London to home in Australia was made easy by the team at Doree Bonner. I looked around at a lot of companies and this one was competitive, professional and thorough. Our move consultant Joanne was exceptional. Knowledgeable, responsive, solved problems, dealt with my endless questions, liaised with the storage company, kept us in the loop as to the shipping arrival, understood customs and insurance, advised us fairly and even saved us money where she could. We used Doree Bonner for our recent move and were so impressed by their speed and efficiency. Right from the get go, the company were super understanding and accommodating despite our last minute booking and we had every confidence it was all going to run smoothly. The team themselves on the moving day were lovely and so speedy. We are moving to the US from London and found Doree Bonner because their customer service from the start made things so easy and simple, they also came through with the most competitive price quote. The set up was so easy and customer services is super responsive and quick to get back with answers to questions. On the day of our move the movers arrived and packed up our house with care and expertise. I literally did nothing and the move was relaxed. They were also really kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

I recently completed a move from the UK to the USA. We only needed to move select items from our 1 bed flat but it did include large furniture, smaller household items and personal effects. I had never done an international removal before and Doree Bonner definitely met my expectations for the service. They were one of four removal companies to do a survey of my place (and one of two to visit in person).
While every company is professional at this stage, DB offered the most accurate and detailed assessment AND had the best price offered as well. Between that and the clear cohesion between sales staff and the ops team, it was an easy decision to choose them for our move in the end. On moving day, my only complaint would is that the movers showed up 3 hours early on the day of the move.
It is rather minimal but I had been planning on doing some errands in the morning and very well could have missed their arrival. From there on out, the three movers were professional, attentive and extremely fast at packing up. They packaged 160 cubic feet of goods up in less than 2 hours for me. Because they were early, I had not had all my items out, but that did not matter as I did a quick walk through for them in which they noted everything that was going and pulled it out of the cupboards themselves.
Everything was professionally wrapped, including some delicate paintings, and neatly labeled for us to know what the contents are upon arrival. I would definitely recommend their service to any family or friends who needed an international move.

The Doree Bonner staff were great from the start when they came to my house to provide a quote. They were very friendly and knowledgeable which put me immediately at ease as I felt my furniture was in safe hands. Nothing was a problem when the furniture was packed up and I was able to let them get on with it with little input. I met with other companies prior to choosing Doree Bonner and didn't receive a personable service, they were simply transaction and inflexible. I would certainly recommend choosing Doree Bonner to ship your valuable goods around the world!

I can safely say to avoid Doree Bonner. The end to end experience was a disaster including a price hike due to them underestimating our contents, and boxes missing which contained expensive items. Our items arrived in two batches along with boxes belonging to another family, and both times our floors were damaged which the movers tried to deny. Our insurance claim was ignored. Really upsetting.
