George Christopher Parish started the removal business in the 1930's with his father, in a Ford A Series Tilt Back Lorry, combining a coal delivery round, the local school run and the occasional local removal. As the population of Bovingdon grew, removals became the more predominant part of his business. GC Parish & Sons is now run by his son and grandson, who endeavour to maintain and improve the family business.

Parish of Bovingdon moved us from Abbots Langley to Chipperfield. They sent 3 guys, a lorry & 1 van. They could not have been more courteous or helpful. I am very grateful that they made our move as as easy as it could possibly be. I would have no hesitation in recommending them 100% and would not use anyone else if we move again in the future as from start to finish they have been nothing short of superb, from the people in the office to the guys loading the lorry they all seem to go above and beyond to help if i could give more than 5 stars I would.

Parish removals were used to move us last Friday. They made the experience much less stressful and very helpful with our first move in 21 years. Monday: They turned up on time and had our house emptied in an hour and a half. We moved to Lincoln from Watford and they had to bring our stuff up on the Tues. They got there at 10am and unloaded within an hour. Nothing broken ( and there were a lot of breakables ) Friendly cheerful guys, they even put down a protective sheet over the carpet. I throughly recommend Parish to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable moving firm.
