Honestly, I can't sing these guys' praises enough. They were friendly, efficient and happy to go the extra mile without even being prompted. We just moved today and we couldn't be happier. Worth every penny. The packing service is highly recommended too!

Kerr's are fantastic! So helpful, I moved from London to Scotland and they could not have been more accommodating. The team were incredibly polite and actually received a lot of abuse whilst moving me in to my property which they handled extremely professionally. In my opinion The lady's comments below are completely unjustified. Giving a one star review is simply unkind giving she wasn't a customer and they merely asked if she could park up and walk an extra 5 minutes so they could move me and my two small children in to the property quickly. Moving house and country Is extremely stressful however Kerr's honestly reduced this massively, furniture items were put where I wanted them, doors taken off to fit items in, the cot was reassembled quickly as was our bed. I can not recommend them highly enough and will definitely use them again in the future.

Absolutely brilliant service in moving us out of our old home and into our new one. All were very friendly and incredibly helpful, and took a huge amount of care with all of our items. They even helped us fill boxes with the last of our stuff, and dismantled and rebuilt our beds. Superb, highly recommended - thank you!

Kerr's Removals were really great and provided an excellent service. They provided a prompt, reasonable quote and all the boxes and packing materials in advance. All interactions and communications with staff have been very positive. The removal men on the day were very efficient and helpful and professional. All of our furniture and many boxes of books and other items were moved and transported to our new house with out any problems at all. We would definitely recommend Kerr's.

Today I found a Kerr's vehicle blocking my way on Blackford Glen Road. The Kerr's men, who were unloading the van, claimed that it is a private road which it is not. They refused to move the vehicle as they said it was ONLY dog walkers who travelled along this road. This is quite wrong as the public access the Hermitage via this road and access is required for the farm, Highways depot and residents.

The Kerr's men said that they would move the vehicle for a Council Highways vehicle but not for somebody walking a dog. They implied that people walking dogs are not worthy or due any respect. A local resident discussed with me that it would have been possible to park the vehicle without blocking the road. Another onlooker said that this had been the situation since 08.30, and it was now 11.00.

The men were rude and abusive towards me. I could not spend time to take any further action due to animal welfare concerns as it was a hot day and I had dogs waiting in my vehicle. I was disgusted with the abusive attitude of these men who were in a position of power but quite clearly in the wrong and completely unwilling to yield to allow other people to go about their business.

I would never consider using this firm with their alpha male attitudes and behaviour intended to intimidate. They show no concern members of the public who must work around them.

We booked a last-minute move after deciding we couldn't shift everything ourselves. The team were very responsive, helpful and polite in generating a quote and booking our move. On moving day, the guys got everything across efficiently and with great care. I really appreciate that they took the time to put boxes in the applicable rooms on the other side, even though we hadn't had enough time to label them by room. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We recently relied upon the services from Kerrs to help relocate from the South of a England to Edinburgh. From the moment I made contact I was totally at ease with Kerrs and their professional yet relaxed approach to one of the most stressful things you can do. The quote was returned quickly and nothing was too much trouble. The move went without any hiccups and all of our possessions were then stored for nearly 5 months with Kerrs.

Our delivery out of store was also highly efficient and Sam and his team soon had us unloaded and all furniture reassembled in no time at all. We had to full packing service which also is worth its weight in gold and was very reasonably priced. I have no hesitation in recommending Kerrs of Edinburgh and would certainly not use anyone else should we find ourselves moving again! 10/10 service.

We moved from a large family home in Surrey to a large upper-floor flat in central Edinburgh in November 2021. And we started the process with a quote from Bill Kerr via a video-tour call from my mobile phone at home in Surrey. Kerr's planned perfectly for the move to take place over four days - starting with efficiently and securely packing up our Surrey home over 1.5 days (including a baby grand piano and several potted olive and lemon trees!) and our possessions were delivered and unloaded in perfect condition into our new Edinburgh home on day four.

Our possessions were moved from Surrey in one very large removals van, and loaded into several smaller vans for delivery to the new Edinburgh address due to a height restriction at our new property. Everything went very smoothly! Everyone we dealt with a Kerr's was helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with and our possessions arrived in perfect condition after their very long journey!

It felt like it might be quite a complicated move - a long distance, a lot of possessions, needed to be done over several days, including moving our possessions from one large van to several smaller vans for access to the new home - but Kerr's took all of the stress out of it and delivered a first-class service. The paperwork we received from Kerr's was also very clear - setting out the move plan really clearly, the price, the insurance etc.

This paperwork was much clearer and easier to read than the paperwork we had received from other removals quotes for this move. Thank you also to Kerr's for that. It costs a few thousand pounds for this type of long-distance move, but Kerr's price was very competitive compared to the big nationally branded moving companies and as we have said, the service was first class and very much tailored to our needs. We would highly recommend Kerr's and would use again, not that we plan to move again any time soon!

Just completed our move and I can't speak more highly of the team at Kerr's. Massive shout out to Jed who packed up our house in a cool 6 hours. The quality of the entire job was excellent - nothing broken, everything well protected, and the communication was excellent. If I ever move again (which I truly hope not to have to do) then I would go with Kerr's every time.

Used Kerrs removals twice now and would recommend. I sought a number of quotes both times and they were competitive and gave a fixed quote (others had lots of extra costs hidden in the quote). The guys were quick, polite and efficient and took care of all the fragile things.

We has a disastrous time, with two failed house moves but Kerr's remained calm, supportive and went out of their way to provide a great service.
