Critical: Value I used Purdie for work & will not use the company again. Two items were left behind at Auchterarder which i had to retrieve and deliver myself. At the delivery site in Aberdeen, the items were dumped when they were supposed to be laid out as per what was lifted. One of the painting were also damaged. I do not recommend using them.

My removers were efficient, courteous, and removed all my belongings in a speedy but careful manner, and at the other end placed my furniture where it should go perfectly, I could not fault their work. Also may I say from first contacting purdies to do my removal the reception and office staff were great guiding me through preparing the contract so that all my household goods and furniture was known to the removers, and were able to change removal date at short notice. Will use purdies again as I have in the past. My first choice for any house removal.

Craig and his team were very friendly, helpful and efficient making moving from one house to another in a day stress free. Obtaining the quote via a video call was easy and the office staff were helpful when collecting packing materials. I would highly recommend their service.

We found Purdies excellent from the outset. In particular the men who did the removal were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They also kept my husband in check when he was doing too much. We would have no hesitation in using purdies again or recommending them to others.

This company are simply superb. I moved from Somerset to Falkirk and their support throughout the whole process was totally focussed on what I needed. If only the legal profession were the same!

Our move was in all respect a good move. However there was room for improvement in certain areas. To start with the initial assessment of our move was under estimated by management. The office staff did not convey all information to the ground staff. This led to slight delays, insufficient packing materials brought to site. Lack of man power at our property during fragile packing and preparation of furniture and goods.

The above lead to a knock on effect. The packers at site were very good, however they were frustrated by the lack of support from the office/ management. The ground staff packing etc ran out of fragile packing materials and did not bring enough boxes with them to complete the work. This lead to items not being protected enough. Luckily I purchased a box pack from the company whch they used some off.

Some of the box pack arrived with the boxes wet and damaged. I was partly re-embursed for the ones used by the company. Luckily our daughter had moved a few months back and we used approximately 35 boxes which we packed and prepared ourselves. The packing and removal was scheduled over two days. Our furniture was stored for two nights and delivered on the third day.

Off loading went quickly and smoothly. I do feel that certain heavy items of furniture should have been packed better. Although we did incur minimal breakages however some items did incurred chips and scrapes. I did have a detailed and long conversation with the General Manager after the removal experience. He was very transparent and honest. We discussed areas where improvement would benefit the company and clients.

He had taken on board our concerns and feedback being positive and negative. He conducted a lessons learned and further tool box talks with his office staff, management and ground staff where they could view their concerns etc. My conclusion is this us a good company that wants to improve and has the management, tools and attitude to do so and excell going forward.

I would use this company again and would recommend them. We have moved several times locally and internationally and to be honest have had a few stressful moves, however this move was one of the good ones taking into all considerations.

Robert came to 2 of our house to quote for removal and storage, email never arrived with quote we had to chase, when it did come it was unreadable, not what you would expect from a professional company, no follow up phone calls!

Excellent service from start to finish. Recently used Purdie for a move from West Lothian to Aberdeenshire. Everything was well packed in the truck and the removal guys were fast and careful

After I first contacted Purdie for an estimate, detailing everything I needed to be moved etc, they asked for some more info, which I provided. I then had to chase them several times by email and phone. Then when I finally dragged the estimate out of them after a week (with no apologies from Purdie for their slowness), the estimate was a basic one which did NOT take any of my information into account (number of men required, top floor flat).

They did apologise for their mistakes and sent me a revised estimate. Needless to say, I did not choose them for my move. For a BAR registered company, this is a really poor effort. I would not recommend them.

If I had packed all my own things, I would have been slower and more methodical (particularly about labelling boxes). But the packing team worked quickly and efficiently to get stuff into boxes, which is their job, and on the other end we didn't hear any sounds of breakage as the local team brought all the boxes in (we haven't unpacked most of the stuff because we're in a temporary rental).

The shipping process took longer than we might have liked, but then with the whole shipping industry in chaos from the pandemic we can't really complain. They got the container to us before our baby was born so that we could have the car seat we put on it, and that is the important part.;-)

A great company and helpful staff. Mine was just a small job, collecting some furniture I had bought at auction and delivering it to my house. The procedure of organizing it was quick and efficient, the job was done promptly and the guys were professional, polite and helpful. Thanks Purdies! This is the fourth time we have used Purdies and yet again they showed why we keep going back. The office staff set up the removal quickly and efficiently, the quote was received almost immediately and was very reasonable and on the day Craig and Simon couldn't do enough to help. The two guys that carried out the removals today were amazing, very professional. Really happy with the service we have received from the very first time we contacted Purdies. Would definitely recommend them.

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of information given at time of booking storage with Purdie Worldwide. I booked over the phone and at no point was I told that this storage facility had no lift and that larger storage units are located on the first floor. When moving out of the storage unit, I tried to organise some Porter support to. help with larger items - 3 large items, a sofa and two wardrobes.

The quote initially offered was fantastic however when I called back to book (within 1 hour of initial enquiry) the price had almost doubled. I was told that I had been miss-quoted. In my opinion the revised quote was excessive. I required around 20 minutes of assistance that they.

Purdies were recommended by a friend and I was very glad of the recommendation. The removal crew took excellent care of my belongings and were quick to load and unload at each end. I had a house move on 27th January and the 2 guys were outstanding in every way the service they provided was exemplary. The move was made so much easier for me and my husband with very little stress, Thank you I would not hesitate recommending your company to all my family and friends.

Amazing removal services. We moved from Hertfordshire to Scotland and they were brilliant. We had Craig and Simon and they were both very professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Also we had lots of changes with our moving dates but Robert and the team in the office were always very accommodating. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Having received such an amazing service from Purdies when we moved house a couple of years ago, the first port of call when our son moved out to a flat in Bathgate yesterday was straight back to Purdies. Another fantastic experience yesterday and everything went seamlessly from start to finish. The two guys worked so quickly and efficiently and made the move stressfree all round. Craig et al from purdie removals moved us on Saturday in what were atrocious weather conditions and I have to say the crew of 3 worked extremely hard. I found them to be polite, friendly & extremely professional. The weather really was awful & the guys were soaked through but not once did they complain & just got on with the job. As a result, the containers were unloaded in a timely fashion. I would have no issues recommending those guys from Purdie for any removals they may have in the future

We have experienced Matt Purdie's fantastic service today. Moving is a stressful time but these guys have made today so easy and even enjoyable. They were professional and organised. They worked amazingly as a team every one of them was pleasant and their jobs were done with a smile! They even complimented my Husbands coffee which made his day! That's our house almost all in storage, part 2 on Monday and part 3 the move at the end of January. Looking forward to working with Purdie Worldwide again.
