We can even take the cat and car. Flemings Removals is a family run business and has in its thirty eight year history moved a large proportion of the population in Central Scotland. Specifically during Local Authority housing stock modernisation, working for four District Councils at one time.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Flemings were the fourth company I requested a quote from. Not only did they come back with the most competitive price but their attitude towards one particularly fragile, large (& challenging to transport) object was impressive. They came to measure up ahead of the move & a joiner was present on the day to build a frame on to which the object could be attached & then wrapped.
On moving day it quickly became evident that I was not as prepared as I should have been & had underestimated the number of boxes I would need!?! The team were very kind & understanding - provided extra boxes & patiently worked around me as I scrambled to pack the last items. Once everything was loaded, the guys went off to wait until my purchase went through.
The staff at the office kept in touch with me & as soon as I had the keys- the team were ready to start moving us in. Access at our new flat was not easy & they were required to walk a fair distance & carry the larger heavier objects up 2 flights of stairs. Once again I was so impressed with their positive & proactive attitudes. They dismantled & rebuilt various things & everything arrived in perfect condition.
I cannot recommend Flemings enough. From the staff at the office, to the 3 young lads & their boss who oversaw everything- they are the most professional, friendly, polite & helpful team. I am incredibly grateful to them for their kindness & understanding on what was a very stressful day for me. 5 stars are not enough!

Contacted them for a quote explainging what I needed which included disconnecting electrical cooker. At the time Willie said nothing about not disconectting cooker when he was out to see what needed moved. On removal day they turned up only to be told they don't disconect white goods even thou I stated to Willie this was required. Phoned Willie who just said it was in the terms which I should have read, YES I SHOULD HAVE READ the terms however when your moving from two properties you have more important things to do.
One the the removers asked to use the toilet which is fine however what isnt fine is pishing on the floor. Also in the second property which was newly decorated all the paint work on the stairs was scuffed and scratched. Poor poor service from start to finish think twice before using them

Can't recommend Flemings highly enough after their excellent service for our house move. Professional and friendly staff at every stage. Great communication and support, even when our date from home builder kept changing. Our movers on the day were efficient and hard-working - everything in immaculate condition and no damage to walls/doors etc. Really competitive prices, very affordable considering the size of the move. They made everything about our home move easier.

These are the best removal men I have ever dealt with. They are courteous, careful of my belongings, energetic, fast, cheerful and respectful. I lived on a hillside with 26 steps to my front door, and they carefully dismantled part of my piano, to decrease the weight, carried it down these steps ( 2 men) with no worries and reassembled it at my destination.
No issues! At all times they took care that I, as a sight and hearing disabled person with mobility issues, was kept safe. On two occasions gave me an arm to lean on whilst ushering me to a place they considered safe. They arrived on time, were scrupulously fastidious regarding placing their vehicle kerbside; so that no danger to any person or vehicle could occur.
At our destination, there was a holdup and they were very helpful and the unload was as fast as the loading. They asked for directions for the placing of every item of furniture and every box. If a removal can be considered fun then these are the people to achieve this for you.

My wife and I moved from Edinburgh to Dundee and used Flemings as we have done for our last three moves. Every time they have "walked the extra mile" and gone out of their way to make the move as stress free as possible. A thoroughly nice bunch of men who are never fazed by what they have to lift and always good humoured with it; all at a reasonable price as well.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Office staff were helpful, the gentleman who came round to check was lovely and easy to work with. Everyone turned up on the day of emptying our house bang on time (early doors but they knew they needed the whole day to empty our house!). All the lads were friendly, fun and polite and Sammy did an amazing job of packing everything like a tetris puzzle into the van quickly, efficiently and safely.
All the lads had a great work ethic and the job was completed quickly. On the day of moving into our house they did the unpacking equally as efficiently, emptying and moving furniture into the correct places and asking when they were unsure where something would go. I honestly don't think anyone could have made the moving experience more enjoyable and I would highly recommend you use them first before you look at Edinburgh companies as they were the easiest to work with from start to finish. I was moving home fairly quickly and reached out for 3 quotes amongst some local and national movers. Flemings were the most responsive and the cheapest. They kept me up to date by email without any issues, very quickly and politely. When I needed a slight adjustment to my quote to add on a second pick up location on the way, they were more than happy to quote it, and at a very reasonable price!
On the day of the move they were able to ring me and advise they could come a little earlier than planned, which suited me fine. The 3 guys doing the job were all really friendly, professional, and a good laugh. They were more than happy to handle everything without complaining, and nothing was too much trouble. What a brilliant service, and if I'm ever moving again I will definitely be using this firm.

Really professional, helpful and friendly. Moved us last week from Edinburgh to Kent. The load up and some packing (kitchen mostly) was done so quick, including a very heavy piano. The guys were flexible as we had planned to stay in the house before they've day but changed our plans, they were really excellent. Great and speedy unloading at the destination, making sure everything went where we wanted. Would definitely highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic personal service from beginning to end. Chose Flemings to move us because they were a local firm with a good reputation. Very reasonably priced. Professional staff who were very supportive on what turned out to be a stressful moving day. Cannot recommend this company highly enough, loved receiving a new home card through the post from them too
