Three months after I sent my belongings from London to Los Angeles, I have yet to receive them, even though tracking of my shipping container shows they have arrived in Los Angeles. In addition, I has charged an additional 50% more almost two months after my belongings were taken because of "excess volume" even though they packed everything and had several opportunities to inform me of an excess well before my items arrived in the US.
My contact person at the company couldn't be bothered with any of my concerns and is basically ghosting me every time I request more information. Avoid this place like the plague.

If you want domestic terrorists to handle your move, this might be your place. Not for me. I'd be concerned that Michelle Peterson would end up burning all of my stuff if she did not agree with how things went. I'll be taking my business to a company that doesn't support a violent overthrowing of the United States.

We used Crown Reolcations to move items from Santa Barbara and store them in the Bay Area before having them moved into our new home in San Francisco. The actual move-in day went smoothly. The crew arrived generally on time, and were efficient and courteous with our items. Absolutely everything else went poorly for my interactions with this company. First: it took me over one month to confirm a move-in date with the warehouse.
As anyone who has every moved can empathize, moving is stressful and having to chase your storage company for three weeks straight is not what you want to do! I would finally get a hold of someone, they would promise to look into my issue, then I wouldn't hear back and I'd start the whole process over again. Then, five months after the move, I got an email from Dianne Woodward (who had been our "point of contact" throughout the process, but as described above she was infrequently in contact) saying due to an issue with their accounting department, we hadn't been billed for the storage and needed to pay immediately.
She didn't provide any invoices or detail on what needed to be paid. When I simply asked for detail on what I was being asked to pay for, she responded with "Please ensure this is taken care of immediately as this missing revenue does not come out of the Van Lines profit, I can assure you of that, " as if I was the issue! I finally got to the bottom of what was actually due (a smaller number than she originally insist I pay IMMEDIATELY.) and paid.
But in the interim I was hounded daily despite not having the full picture. All in, there are so many companies to choose from for your moving and storage needs. DO NOT PICK THIS ONE!

Thieves! First they didnt show up with packing materials on assigned day, next day they were all sick, yeah yeah. Then stole items. Unacceptable and pathetic. Ghetto people are sent out to pack that poorly communicate. Anyone that steals someone else's thing is Ghetto and a low life in my book. They probably didnt think we would notice but we did we had inventory.

I contacted this company to plan my move from the USA to Europe and never even got a reaction. I used the email they have in their website (houston@crownrelo.com) and got no reacion. I called and they told me that they dont know who has access to that inbox. I thought. wtf? I left all necessary information and all my contact details and I am still waiting for their reaction. If you have time and patience to chase a service. thats your company.

Updated review. Leslie and Jasmine really helped us reinventory our items without complaint. We are so grateful that we were able to get the crate numbers corrected and add our high value items to our shipping lists. I would recommend this company because despite the hasty packing and errors the company did their best to correct those errors. At the end of doing business with them it was pleasant.

Quick, efficient, courteous and cautious. Jessie's team was phenomenal! This was my first time working with a moving crew and it was a great first experience. I wish I had thoroughly read their website because it had great tips to prepare for the move. When you go to the website. Click on the menu button then scroll down to your move, then click to moving and packing tips.
It gives tips about moving with kids, teenagers, how to settle in at your new destination, etc. I honestly wasn't ready. We had just received the confirmation that we were moving a little less than 2 weeks before our big move. BEFORE THE BIG DAY Lynn came to our house from in-home consultation. My husband was the only one present during the walkthrough.
It took about 45-60 minutes. She checked everything, closets, open drawers, and asked a bunch of questions. She went over what could ship and would couldn't ship. THE BIG DAY Robert was the first to arrive at my house. He got to know me a little bit and since I told him it was our first big move he took his time to explain how the day would go.
He had a huge smile on his face and personified the aloha spirit. Robert has been working with the company for 10 years. The crew leader Jessie arrived with his other teammate Cisco. Jessie has worked for the company for 25 years. He quickly put a sticker on all of our big furniture and electronics. I was astonished to find out that he is a grandpa because he moved so quickly. Cisco worked for the company for 13 years and kept things light.
He made some jokes that helped lighten my worry. Every item was wrapped and marked. Other: Take care of your movers because they are working hard to pack your most precious items. * Provide cold drinks to help with the humidity in Hawaii. * Tip the movers. * Be Kind. * If you want to be extra nice provide lunch. This crew was always moving and took a short break to eat. Robert told me you are able to request for a team.
Request for Jessie and his crew if you decide with this company. Overall, we had a great move out experience. I hope we will experience the same good customer service when we move in to our new home.

Only reason I don't give them one star is because the guys were nice enough and sociable. Otherwise they weren't the greatest. Seemed to be in a rush to get everything done and haphazardly threw stuff in boxes. Their supervisor actually broke one of my glasses when he was packing it. He told me to blame the delivery company when it arrived at my next duty station and claim it as damaged in transit.
He almost packed it had I not stopped him and told him I would just throw it away. They also left their trash (empty tape rolls, torn packing paper) around that I had to go behind and pick up. If they are assigned your military relocation get another company.

I contacted this company for a quote on an international move. First contact was through the website then I began receiving texts from an employee there to arrange a call to get more details. The call time was booked. They called late but no big deal. We talked for almost half an hour, I gave a detailed list of what we were moving - less than a studio apartment worth of stuff - and she promised I would get a quote on Monday (this was Wednesday).
She asked the price range of other quotes I'd received and I told her and she said Crown would be "in that range". She was polite and personable however then she called back an hour later and I couldn't answer the phone so she text. She has forgotten to ask me something. Fine. I responded to the text. She called back two days later clearly unaware that she had already talked to me.
When I said we had already spoken she was flustered, mumbled something about getting the quote to me next week and hung up. Monday came and went- no quote. Tuesday evening the quote came in from a guy named Jose who I had never talked to. It was for more than DOUBLE any quote I'd received from anyone. Over $10k for 20 boxes and 3 pieces of small furniture.
I wrote back asking if it was a joke. He wrote back saying he could go through my other quotes from other movers and show me the hidden costs. No thanks. Then I got another email from someone else who worked there, she was on the original chain and was clearly writing employees and forgot to remove me from the chain. She noted to someone names Kerry that 'this customer" was taken care of 'quite quickly' - 4 business days.
I have no idea what that email was supposed to signify. I wrote back to ask but no one has responded. They are clearly disorganized and confused. I was greatly disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend attempting to work with them.

Do not trust this company with any of your movements. Unfortunately, I was referred to them by a friend and trusted my move. As a result, several thousand dollars in damages and both Ronald Alas and Hector Monge stopped picking up the phone or reply to my e-mails. They did not provide even the basic coverage required by law. Scam artists! Be careful!

Do not use this company! If you are military, request a different company. Everything in our shipment from Hawaii to the mainland was moldy. Turns out they did not take proper precautions when packing the crates in the rain. We had to throw out almost everything we own. We estimated $30,000 in damage. Because of the insurance that the military gives you, we did not get fully compensated for everything we lost.

I had to use this business in order to get my belongings shipped for free by my employer. I am grateful for my job to pay for my relocation expenses BUT this company, or atleast the people that are in charge of setting things up are not very considerate about telling you the truth. I told them when I needed my car and my belongings by and they, said that they could make that time line as long as I shipped my stuff out by a certain day which I did.
My car came on time. But my clothes and my belongings were over 2 weeks late and they came and picked up my stuff a month prior. Come to find out my stuff was just sitting in a crate for 2 weeks before they actually decided to ship it to Seattle. If I knew that they were not gonna send my stuff for 2 weeks I would have asked them to pick it up later.
They didn't ship it til a week after I already moved. I was not happy not having enough clothes to wear for 3 weeks. The actual day when they picked up my car and my belongings, the workers were nice and they wrapped everything and got it in the crate very quickly. Nothing was damaged when I received it.

Worst customer service. I selected this company because their salesperson, Michele, on the mainland said their having an office on Oahu was a competitive advantage. They loaded things fine. Then, they changed my move in date from May 16th to June 12th without a word to me, I just happened to call. Janine, their manager on Oahu flat out told me they are busy with military families.
When I complained, they changed it to a day I was on another island for business. Dianne, the agent who helped in California, is MIA. Do not recommend. I would recommend Island Movers, real pros.

We moved from Irvine to Orange in early March this year and used this company to do our move. I wanted to give them a review on Yelp because they are, by far, the best moving company we have ever used. That is saying a lot as we moved to California from Scotland 17 years ago and have lived in at least 10 homes in the last 30 years. From the first telephone interaction, to the video estimate system and then the efficient, friendly and trustworthy movers on the day (team of 6), we could not be happier with the service provided by Crown Relocations. I would be very happy to refer them to my friends and family in future.

The worst company that I have ever dealt with. They have no integrity and don't take ownership of the damages they did to my house. I guess calling them on the phone 5-10 mins after the movers left to notify them a box were missing and damages you found does not matter. It's a shady company that does not record the conversations on the phone to deny everything to benefit them. I would give them no stars but I don't have that option.

Just got all my stuff back yesterday. Most of it is broken, some of it wasn't even packed in anything and just stuffed in the create. I should give them 5 stars since they turned my 47' Flat screen HDTV into one of those cool curved glass televisions, I haven't plugged it in yet but I'm optimistic. Good bit of advice: if this company is assigned to do your move just sell all your stuff and start over where ever you're going.

So I'm currently in the military and we recently PCS'd from Hawaii to Colorado Springs. Crown Relocations helped us move our HHG's. Long story short, I'm missing my 32" HDsmartTV. This guy, that goes by the name St Butac, created the special items list and deliberately left that tv out. I'm sure you guys are thinking, "What if it was a mistake?". hhhmmm, list all my other high value items and "mistakenly" leave out my HDsmartTV?!
Right sure, mistake. And yes I know, I understand my wife didn't carefully go over the list before she signed it, but for them to trick us like that, it's just terribly wrong and bad for business. I want people to know that workers in Crown Relocations are working with other people inside Lincoln Movers and stealing peoples stuff. And they're getting away with it time after time!
Somebody needs to stop these f*ckers! This isn't the only time this happened. I recently talked with my Sergeants and I've been told this kind of stuff happens all the time. They're stealing TVs to kids dirt bikes! I just want people to be aware. Please go over your list carefully. These workers are purposely leaving out high value items, hoping you won't notice, so afterwards they can steal it.
And once you sign and your items are shipped. You're f***ed. No documentation of the item, meaning it wasn't in their possession. File all the lost item claims you want and they'll just reply back saying, "there is no proof of tender to the TSP for this item. We're unable to consider payment." Hopefully I don't have to move overseas again, because I hate to do business with these people again.
And they have the nerve to reply saying, "we trust you understand our position on this matter." b*tch, you're probably in it too. Is this how Crown Relocations and Lincoln Movers treat our service members?!?

We just finished a pack out of 16K pounds.headed to the mainland. The packers were all courteous and conscientious, esp given the work load. First day we were told to expect them between 2-4p. One person came at 4p which we were a little perplexed about but it worked out fine. (They had already put in a full day!) The other two packers came a little later and all of them did marvelous work.
They were with us for 3.5 days. I can't imagine making a career out of dealing with stressed out people day in an day out. They all handled themselves with grace and professionalism the entire time. I never had to worry about things being mishandled or taken. These guys were the best of the best. We have no complaints. Out of all our moves (this being our 9th major move) this pack out has been the best.
To the company I would recommend that you pay your people on the front lines more. They deserve it as they are taking care of you. Also, keep in touch with your customers and update them when the time of arrival changes. Thank you for a great experience. To the customers I would remind you to deal kindly with the packers, esp during the summer months when they are performing constant strenuous work 12 hours/day (moving YOUR junk and a few precious items!). Feed them and give them a great tip. Treat them with respect and understanding and thank them.

I contacted them for a recent move from HI to the mainland. They gave me a decent enough quote so I scheduled for their surveyor to come out to my apartment to inventory my belongings. After the survey, I received an email from them with their estimated total cost -- the problem with the estimated cost was that it was based on a per pound cost that was 35% higher than their original quote!
As you can imagine, such misinformation has real consequences when you're dealing with thousands of pounds. As a result, I was forced to scramble to find an alternative moving company. Do not trust this company.

The WORSE moving company i have ever dealt with and I have moved a lot! First we were told 2 guys were coming between 11 and 1pm.instead 1 guy shows up at 9am! Ok fine then we are told a few more guys are coming in the afternoon.no one else shows up.ok whatever. And although i felt bad for the 1 guy he ate lunch in our front yard and left the rubbish in the yard.tomato slices, empty water bottles and a jack in the box cup!
Which WE had to clean up. Then when we ask him to remove or cover his shoes while going on the carpet areas because its raining outside he tells us its "company policy that he cannot remove or cover his shoes." What kind of policy is that?! At least cover them with those shoe covers! So now on top of all the cleaning we have to do already, we have to scrub the floors and the carpets because of the shoe prints brought in!
Oh and did I mention this guy was trying to take everything we had! He kept asking "do i pack this?" Or "can I have this?" Even after we had explained to pack everything.and told him if the door is closed do not pack or go in. And whenever we said "yes, pack that" he would give us this dumbfounded look and make a rude sound as if it shouldn't be packed!
The next day was filled with even more pain/headaches! Some of the guys didn't wear a uniform (which is only a t shirt) or decided it was fine to take some of their clothes off? Watching them load the stuff onto the truck was even better! If it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit! What would possess you to punch and hit a box to try to squeeze it into a space where it clearly doesn't fit?!
They also dropped a lot of our items and even threw some things down the stairs! I hope my stuff will get to its destination in one piece and that I will actually have all my stuff! I will never ever use this company again. I would rather pay a ton of money and have packers with good work ethics then use a horrible company like this! I will definitely forewarn people and everyone I know about this company and I am going to look into putting in a formal complaint if I can! JUST HORRIBLE! Advice to others.take your business someplace else!

Had to call for my supervisor, but if their customer service is any indication of the business, don't do business with them! I emailed a request to the General Manager to request a conference call to settle an issue that my supervisor has with this company. No reply. So I call and leave a voicemail message for the General Manager. No reply. The next day, I receive a terse email with a choice of two times the following week.
Not going to work on my end, so I promptly (within minutes) email back to request alternate times for this conference call. No reply. So AGAIN I call and ask the receptionist to ask the General Manager to call me. She tells me to leave a voicemail message and transfers me to voicemail; she doesn't even have the courtesy to take a message for the General Manager.
So I leave ANOTHER voicemail message. I have no problem with this company, but from how I have been treated thusfar, I wouldn't do business with them and would warn anyone else not to do business with them either. I'm just the messenger, but their bad treatment of me is probably only a precursor of what my supervisor is up against! Their avoidance tactics are juvenile, unprofessional, and just plain RUDE!
Their customer service is NON-EXISTANT, they don't return emails or telephone calls in a timely manner! It's simply no way to run a business and stay profitable/operational for the long term. Simply put, take your business elsewhere!
