The Jeakins family have worked in removals and transport dating back to the 1890s when G. W. Jeakins set up the firm as a carter in Hoxton, London.In 1969 D. J. J A Coles has done an excellent job with our move - they have been very professional and helpful through the whole moving process: from dealing with the customs and all the paperwork, to packing and transporting everything, and finally reassembling the furniture back at our final destination. The staff was very competent, always available to answer our questions, well organized, and also very friendly. It was a delight to work with them! I would definitely recommend them!

This company is top notch. If you have the honor to work with Daniela B, Stephen, Jake, Craig and Kirk. you will not be sorry. seriously not sorry. What a team. Fantastic work, fast and respectful of my wordly goods that came from West Coast USA Washington State (Pacific North West). Called the day before with details and what time the container would arrive at my storage in Exeter.on time as projected.
They worked well as a team and handled my precious goods like they owned them.( All 504 boxes and pieces) Very refreshing to see. Daniela B was the office lady and was just brilliant and my constant emails and calls must been exhausting for her. they became so constant that most doubtabley that it was expected that i would greet her most mornings. Coles packed & moved us within Haringey last month and the guys were great. We had a long chain involved in the move, which meant the removal date chopped and changed several times, but they were very accommodating. They came back a few weeks later to take away the empty boxes too! Highly recommended.

We had the most stressful move back home from London. During this process Daniela was our saving grace. She was was so easy to work with and frequently in communication with us. She managed all aspect of our move, including storage and helping us dispose some of our items when we could not do that ourselves remotely back in London. When our goods arrived months later they were exactly intact as the had packed them. It is because of Daniela I would use J.A.Coles again for my my future move.

A very trustworthy removal company with excellent customer service. From the moment I spoke to Renata to the delivery of my goods in Cologne, everything went smoothly. The communication was good upon delivery too. Even though I was not at the delivery address, the drivers managed to get hold of someone to let them in and drop off the boxes. I can recommend J.A. Coles most highly.

Yesterday our goods that were shipped from Houston to the UK were finally delivered after some delays caused by the Home Office losing my wife's paperwork (nothing to do with our shipment nor Coles - just our arrival to receive the goods was delayed by months since we could not get here to receive it :( ). Anyway - yesterday it was delivered!
Over the last weeks/months we dealt by phone with Daniela at Coles who took care of us, kept us apprised of what was going on and made storage and the final arrangements. Great service on her behalf! The two gentlemen who delivered our goods were amazing in terms of professionalism, skill and service - and really nice guys to boot! Jon and Darren went above and beyond delivering everything to two different locations (boxes to our storage unit and furniture to our home - all prearranged with Daniela).
They unpacked and assembled (where necessary) the furniture with care, humor and expertise. I wish that the people (different company) in the US had been professional too - then the things that broke as a result of careless and poor packing would have arrived intact. Nothing to do with Cole's. They were perfect - I recommend them without reservations! Review # 48 2018

I move quite a bit and it is always international. and if you didn't know, moving is actually one of the top 5 maybe even top 3 stressful situations in someones life. With my last move from London to California I used J.A Coles Removals Ltd. Reasonable prices with no surprises! Coles were great from the start. We ended up having to arrange our move at very short notice following a particularly stressful few days. Both Renata and Daniela were extremely calm, reassuring and helpful. We called them on the Friday and packers were in the house the next day. They kept us up to date with when they would be coming to pack and collect items, which went into storage for a couple of weeks. All the packers and movers were very friendly, courteous and careful with both our belongings and our new property. I would highly recommend Coles.

My partner & I used JA Coles to relocate from London, UK to St Petersburg, FL. U.S.A. late summer 2015. Our move was complicated in that it involved removing items from more than one place. From start to finish Coles exhibited a 'can do' approach. Their pricing was reasonable and their export packers were helpful & cooperative. They followed through from start to finish. Daniella Banikova who coordinated our move from the office was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Moreover, the receiving land agent in the US (Blue Horizon) also provided a great service. I would not hesitate to recommend JA Coles & would happily employ them again.

We had a slightly complicated move with possession coming from two sites, and the packing and delivery work spread over three days. Coles did a great job of coordinating all this, and within twenty minutes of completing the sale on our new house their first truck arrived. Packing, loading and unloading was all really efficient, and the crews were very nice, flexible and helpful. It was really impressive. We can't speak too highly of this firm.
