The original Clark & Rose business was founded in Aberdeen by David Clark and Robert Rose in 1906 as a bicycle shop. From here the business moved into motorcycle and vehicle hire before branching out into deliveries. Eventually, the business moved into haulage and from there on to household removals.
Clark & Rose are a long established moving and storage company headquartered in Aberdeen with branch offices in Stirling and London. We provide a full range of domestic, European and international moving and storage services to private, trade and corporate clients. Our UK removals service covers the whole of the UK. We have the people and experience to ensure a smooth journey wherever you're moving to in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales. To best understand your removal needs we will send a qualified surveyor to your home to assess all your removal requirements.

Clark & Rose have been superb from the communication with Adam on the initial quote which was over a weekend/bank holiday through to move day. Terry and the removals team worked relentlessly and were polite and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Clark & Rose and going forward I will be recommending to my clients. Terrible service. Clark and Rose (Removals) Ltd company cannot be trusted. We booked our moving date with the rep and once quoted, we returned the Acceptance document with our moving date, which was confirmed. Then 11 days before we were due to move (to another part of the country), we enquired about additional boxes and received an email response declaring that our date requested was now fully booked!
We did not receive a telephone call, just a curt email with no explanation or alternative options. We were left high and dry with no removals and due to our moving date being over a Bank Holiday weekend, we had no chance of gaining another booking and instead we had to resort to driving our boxes 90 odd miles, back and forth, using several vehicles/vans, which caused additional stress and hard labour. Clark and Rose (Removals) Ltd offered us no explanation as to why our booking was double-booked and did not offer any help or compensation. Having spoken to another company, we now assume they underquoted our move costs to win the quote and then decided they had other bookings that were more local. Clark and Rose (Removals) Ltd did not care about the situation that they put us in and caused us emotional stress and we were disgusted by their conduct. If you are thinking of using this company - think again. They are not to be trusted.

Part 2 of my move, storage to Spain. Colin and Robbie were very hard working, professional, prompt and happy and polite. Nothing was too much bother, trying to get my kitchen table in situ! Do NOT use this company! Called them to arrange a quote, they told me the date we required was available & booked in for a surveyor to come out and do an official quote. Received a text an hour before they were coming to tell me that date was taken & I'd booked the day off of work to sit in and wait for them! Disgusting service.

Super service. The removal guys were polite, respectful and hard working. There were 3 minor breaks/damage and the customer service department sorted this swiftly and efficiently. Constructive feedback - they emptied the kettle of water before packing, but they did not empty the iron meaning it leaked on other items! Would we use Clarke and Rose again? Yes, definitely, and we would ask for Tony & Matt again.

First part of our removals - job done! Very happy with the removal of our 4 bed house into storage. Prompt, polite and the job done as well as I could have expected in what is a stressful time for most. Also helped by Ishia in the office, who was very prompt and efficient. Every single item of my furniture was damaged by them. When I complained, their response was simply that it must have happened inside the containers as if, somehow, this was routine and a matter of course. Clearly their removals process is inadequate if they are unable to transport things domestically without damage. Certainly when I have transported the same items myself, I have caused no damage to them. Thankfully I packed my own items, lord knows what might have happened had I used that service. I really would not recommend this company if you want to move your furniture without damage.

I used Clark & Rose, a UK company, to transport my goods from Paris to San Francisco and had a very disappointing experience. The salesman oversold the deal and used carefully-crafted ways of answering my questions (I realize now) and in essence, stretching the truth by far. In summary, the company's salesman oversold the deal, the packers are not skilled (as the sales guy promised) and the post-transport support to be able to track the goods before they arrive in the destination city is very poor. They're even members of the FIDI/FAIM industry associations, but they don't manage to provide good quality service.
