We are a local family run business with value for money and old world service ideas and a long history in dealing with antiques and fine art. We approach a removal the same as any other work we undertake, by first conducting a survey of the furniture and items to be packed and moved. This means we can make certain we have the right sized vehicle and correct number of staff, in order to achieve completion in the allotted time span.

From the first call to the last box dropped off, I couldn't have been happier. Melissa in the office went out of her way to change dates, and all the men who moved us from Surrey to Devon were hard working and humerus. Big shout out to Callum for leading the team and great communication. Would use them again and thoroughly recommend.

First class service! We moved from Devon to Limousin. Not only was the quote from NDR one of the lowest we received, but - unlike some other firms - NDR provided clear guidance on the paperwork we needed for our goods to enter France without incurring French duties or taxes. Lee/Melissa and their team of removal men were straight-forward to deal with: always punctual, unfailingly courteous and helpful, and possessed of a good sense of humour. Invariably moving house is stressful; but, NDR's professional approach did much to alleviate the tension.

The team moved my Mum and Uncle, they went above and beyond to help my uncle move into his new flat, and made sure he was comfortable before leaving him. They moved my Mums car and belongings from Devon to Yorkshire and dropped her car with me and put her stuff in storage. The whole team were pleasant, friendly and helpful, we were very pleased

We have recently moved from SW France to the SW of England with the help of the North Devon Removals. They were excellent in everything, calm, efficient, on time and clearly cared about our belongings which were all nicely packed in the vans. They kept you posted and were always at the end of the phone or text, all this at a sensible price. Lee and all the team were simply the best.!

Dishonest and heavy handed. Apology and assurance received on moving day for unfortunate damage to a new piece of furniture which was then denied when followed up. We had to chase up after being advised on the day that the damage would be reported back and that the manager would come to the property to inspect. Extremely disappointing as otherwise had gone well.
Would avoid if you have expensive furniture or are precious about your belongings. *update. Thank you for your carefully considered response. Yes, this is a genuine review after using the company. Your flippant response only highlights the attitude and behaviour you direct towards honest paying customers when raising a genuine concern. **Second update.
A pity. I hoped after 10 months your recent response would be more sensible than the last. I see your previous response has now been removed. Your latest ironically describes your 5-star reviews well. It is dishonest to post 8 5-star reviews to offset one negative review. I trust you will not be challenging Google with those? I gave a 1-star review because I was not happy with what happened.
It was not personal. Suggesting your competitors are responsible is concerning. The review was not portrayed as a horror story with my review going on to say that things had otherwise gone well. I wanted my review to be balanced and fair. Sometimes things do not go quite right. Please reconsider how you respond to customers on the odd occasion where they are not entirely pleased.
