Kirkintilloch Self-Storage

A great place which made moving house so much easier. My only gripe is that your deposit is returned by cheque. Seriously who uses cheques in 2021?

I used Paisley Self Storage Containers for years up until a couple of years ago and they couldn't have been more helpful. Their staff were always really friendly and the place is really well managed. Last month I moved house and needed storage so got in touch again. The team helped me work out roughly what size I'd need and reserved space for me in advance.

Their prices were competetive and when the removals company I had chosen let me down they stepped in to help out, offering expert advice and making sure my possessions were stored efficiently and safely. In the past I used their containers and found that with desiccating granuals even wooden furniture and rugs were fine but they now have ambient heated locker spaces so there's an additional variety of options and sizes which helps to keep the price down too.

My impression is that, as a family run business, the staff are more longterm and skilled than at some of the bigger facilities and that they keep a close eye on things. The layout of their set-up also means that security is really good so even though my items have a lot of sentimental value and would be irreplaceable regardless of insurance, I feel quite comfortable leaving them in their safe hands once again.

I made the decision to use them a second time even though there were at least 10 other storage places closer at the time and their helpfulness this time around has convinced me that my decision was correct. It's up to you of course, and they may not have space but I would recommend giving them a ring.

Beware if keeping house hold goods in these storage containers I had to throw out umpteen items due to dampness from condescension inside theses containers i would never use these again as the one i was given wasn't insulated and I'm sure they are well aware of this

Ricky form the Paisley branch was amazing! He helped get our things down 2 flights of stairs, in to the van and again in to the storage unit. Very friendly and professional throughout. Prices are very reasonable too!

Used Kirkintilloch Storage in between moving houses. Veronica ensured I had a container that would fit all the furniture I was looking to store. The container was water tight and everything was in the same condition when I collected if a few months later. The site is secure and if you need to, you can get access to your container 24/7. The price is good and the staff super helpful. Dont go elsewhere if looking to store your belongings. Thanks again Veronica, Mark.

I can't speak highly enough of the continued high level of customer service provided by the Paisley branch including during lock-down. This is now the 2nd year that I have used a storage facility there and I would have NO doubts in recommending this company to anyone.

We used the storage unit for around 6 months when moving from one place to another. The units are very secure and air/water tight meaning you can store fabric sofa's etc in the units and they will not be affected. The price is very reasonable and the staff are helpful and accommodating. I would definitely use again in the future.

Clean and easily accessible facilities at a very reasonable rate which we used to store personal belongings for around 6 weeks when moving house. Whole unit felt very secure, our upstairs indoor unit was behind 2 locked doors /gates and additional padlock/deadbolt. The pallet truck and sack trolleys that were available to use when loading and unloading into the containers were of great use and the shop on site is very handy to pickup more boxes and tape when we ran out.

The on site staff were fantastic, especially Veronica who always went out her way to make my kids feel welcome in the office while visiting (despite being under the weather at the time!) Highly recommend.

Went through the Paisley branch but used the Barrhead storage facility. I can recommend them highly. They picked up up all my furniture and put it in the storage unit for me. Even received some free packing material when I booked. Very helpful and friendly staff. Barrhead storage staff always on hand and very helpful also. Would definitely use them again.

Sold our house last month and didn't move into our new build for 6 months, these guys handled everything for us, from packing up all the furniture to doing the removal to storage, we didnt think our stuff would have fitted in the unit they should us, but they insisted it would and they were spot on so saved us money too. Outstanding customer service from every single member of staff from start to finish, 100% recommend and would definitely use these guys again

Very impressed - we stored half of our belongings with Kirkintilloch Self Storage whilst in the process of selling our home. The facility was impressive, clean and tidy as well as their 24 hour access which was handy. The box shop was a godsend, with a large range of boxes, bubble wrap and tape etc. I would use Kirkintilloch Self Storage again with no hesitation & Veronica, thanks for your much valued advice and help.

Professional staff manner combined with a permanently happy Veronica complete with 24 hour access security gates and very clean and well maintained containers. Easy to contact office by phone and no machine answer. Personal service. Excellent experience. Great for contractors and house or business storage alike. Containers can come with or without electricity. Very reasonable prices.

I would give 10 stars if I could! I have had such a lovely experience with this company. It has been over a year now that I have had my storage unit. The Customer Service that I have received from Veronica and George has been amazing and the storage unit was spacious and perfect for all my household furniture. They made our entire moving out process easy with their big Luton Removal Van and their team of Andy and Thomas who were so careful with everything. I Highly Recommend this company.

Brilliant self storage place, the cheapest storage unit I could find and have been here for nearly 5 years already, I can't believe it! There 24hr access pin coded entry electric gate and high security CCTV camera system is perfect security for my business, The staff Veronica & George have always been so friendly and so cooperative with very good customer service, A very good hard working family company to deal with and they are always reminding me to come in for a free coffee anytime. keep up the good work guys!
