Wardle & Keach has been in operation for over 120 years, beginning in 1890 as a small family firm. Albert Wardle came to Kettering to manage Liptons and soon after, in early 1900, he went into partnership with a local coal haulage owner. Upon the death of the previous owner, Albert began to trade alone and began operating under the name of Messrs A Wardle & Son in 1905.

We chose Wardle and Keach in Northampton to arrange shipping of personal effects to Australia. The quotation process was very simple and straight forward, a competitive quote was offered up and a date set for packing and shipping. The guys came and effectively executed the task at hand, no fuss and efficiently. Of course, we have not received goods yet, but have no reason to believe there will be a problem. Thanks to Paul Henry for arranging everything. I highly recommend!

We unreservedly recommend Wardle and Keach. We were downsizing after 23 years which was a pretty stressful and emotive challenge and I cannot praise Paul Henry's Wardle and Keach highly enough. I was recommended by a good friend. Price quoted was way lower than Pickfords which was a good start. On the morning of the move we were feeling pretty anxious until the W&K truck arrived and the three fit looking and friendly crew alighted led by David.
All three introduced themselves by name with big reassuring smiles and handshakes. Our stress levels plummetted. We knew we were in good hands. Not much more to say really. The move went like clockwork. Everything packed with care. No breakages. No dramas. The guys were just great.

I have known Wardle & Keach for over 20yrs, they are the only removal firm I consider when moving, we have called upon their services several times over the years. Most recently we moved with Wardle & Keach, we had some large items including a hot tub which they moved expertly with ease. The whole team from Danielle in the office to Andy when quoting and removal men on the day were great, professional, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

If you want your items kept safe and how you left them then STAY AWAY! I used Wardle and Keach for a house move. I enquired about having my new Sofa which was cream. wrapped to keep it safe whilst it was. stored with them. This was the main reason I used this company as my sofa would be wrapped and kept safe. The guys who did the initial move were fantastic.
They wrapped the sofa and a unit well. When the items were delivered several months later to my new property. my brand new cream 4000 sofa was filthy and ruined. my tv was damaged and the items were not looked after respectfully or carefully. It wasn't wrapped (see pics) and was against a dirty wooden unit. The second storage.

Absolutely would recommend this company for any removal. The staff who came to move us out and into our new home were amazing. Friendly, reassuring and stress free move. They put us at ease and handled all of. our property with respect. We had a laugh and a joke throughout which helped reduce all of the stress involved and they worked so so hard. Unfortionalty I wouldn't be recommending there service at all the amount of damage we had to our furniture and belongings including wedding dress was unbelievable all due to there lorry had holes in there roof, . seals all broken even took photos to show them! which meant the rain poured in unlucky for us the weather was horrendous that day otherwise we wouldn't of got water damage to our belongings! since aug last year we have only just sorted it out!
The guy who helped us move in he noticed it all damaged and took photos for us he was brilliant helping us sort it all unfortunately he got all the blame from this company which resolved in him leaving the company. Taken us since Aug to claim back compensation going through solicitors and furniture ombudsman only just got my settlement which has hardly paid for any of the damages so I would defianlty check there POLICY INSURANCE before you take them on! hopefully this won't happen again to someone else!
