Kieran and Ben did a fantastic job moving me from one side of the country to the other. I had many huge, wet garden pots and plants, and they cheerfully moved everything for me. It was all so simple, everything was packed logically and each box labelled for easy identification. The day turned out to be quite fun, very organised and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the guys. Fantastic job!

Jamie Briggs removals came highly recommended as we searched for a removal company. Unfortunately, despite calling twice to arrange a quotation visit, on both occasions no one could help me and my phone call was not returned (despite being promised one the same morning!). If you can't cope with the demand, manage customer expectations effectively. Real shame as you had come so highly recommended.

Two polite and helpful men arrived at the promised time. Taking care not to damage the wall/floor they proceeded to move out a very heavy piano with no fuss. They then took the piano to my son's house - up 4 steep steps - and once again, with no fuss, installed it in the hall. Thanks very much for a job well done. Mike

Everybody from Jamie Briggs was helpful, polite and hard working. They looked after our move without any issues. Any number of boxes we needed were delivered and picked after we had unpacked. We did not experience any issues, like "thats not covered, thats not included, thats extra" like with some other removal Co's I have read about on Google. Would we use them again = Yes

So disappointed with the service. We organised a survey to be completed which was done on a Tuesday, a quote was sent through Thursday which said to reply with any questions. I replied with a question on the Friday morning and heard nothing. I chased the following Wednesday and was told I would get a call in the afternoon and I didn't. On chasing again on the Friday I was told the moving date we had requested had since been booked by somebody else so they were no longer available.
Would not recommend as if we had not had an alternative removal company that could make the date, we would have been forced to change our moving date all due to errors on the company's part.

While the move itself was smooth, they broke a prized statue because they failed to put any form of protection on it such as simple bubble wrap. They offered to fix it with a claim form but 1.5 months later I am now getting completely ghosted by both the claim dept and the point of contacts I initially had when hiring them. Pretty pitiful follow-through on something that could easily have been avoided.

Recently used Jamie Briggs for a house move and the packing service and I would highly recommend them. The packing was done with care and clearly labelled. They were punctual on both days of the move and although the weather was atrocious they made sure that nothing got wet. Keith, George & Dan were all very professional and really nice chaps and they even drafted in another 2 chaps in the afternoon to help them speed up the move. Excellent job.

I can not recommend Jamie Briggs enough. From our first initial enquiry, to the office staff, to the guys who actually moved us the experience was stress free, professional and smooth. On the day of the move not a single items was damaged the use of protection in both properties meant there was no damage, not even a small mark, on any of the walls of the house.
Nothing was to much trouble for the guys and their efficient working meant we were in and moved in a really decent time. If you are looking for a company to take the stress out of moving and someone you can really trust with your possessions this is the company for you. I wouldn't move again without them. Thank you to everyone working there!

We were very happy with the service from Jamie Briggs Removals. The chaps (Keith and George) who did the packing the day before were excellent and very professional and friendly. The way everything was packed was great. They were also there for the move along with another guy Dan who was also a really nice guy. They took great care of our items and worked so hard even with it pouring with rain all day. I highly recommend Jamie Briggs Removals.

Jamie Briggs came very highly recommended so we decided to go for their packing services, despite higher cost than elsewhere. But upon unpacking I was shocked with the lack of care or attention with which our items were handled - baby changing mat and lampshade screwed up into a box, books thrown in, delicate items left unwrapped. Marker pen left on our bed.
Insurance claim put in for the larger value item, only partially received, and zero response to my complaints. Very poor customer service on top of poor packing. I had hoped they'd jump right back and tell me they were sorry that they weren't up to their usual standard. sadly apparently not and my bad for not reading reviews. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I hired Jamie Briggs to move my belongings to a house in the next village, 4 miles away, and had a very bad experience with their entire service. After I contacted them for a quote, they did not respond until my second attempt, and seems rather unconcerned. When a Jamie Briggs representative came to give me a quote, he was very thorough and seemed knowledgable, telling me the details of how my valuables would be looked after, especially as I have some furniture and artwork that required care in moving.
He told me that everything would be covered with cloth or paper, that the legs of the furniture would be protected, and assured me that the men know how to pack books properly. Even though Jamie Briggs quoted almost twice that of my next highest quote, I decided to use them because they promised special care and service. When the men came to move my things, they said that they would save money (?) by doing the move over two days, even though the truck was only partly loaded both days.
Nothing was covered. Things were thrown into boxes with my silk dupion cushions uses as packaging, suede was damaged and marred, mattresses and furniture was marked with black streaks and marred, books were irreparably damaged - one had the dust cover ripped right off and crumpled as it was shoved into the side of a box, the walls of the house were scraped, scratched and marked, etc., etc.
I could go on, and I sent them a letter of complaint, as nothing that was promised during the quote had been done. Their only response was to ask if they could retrieve their packing boxes! I found their service at every stage sub-standard to what was to be expected, and the general impression is that they are very happy to take as much money as possible and deliver as little as possible in service and care to belongings and property.

Jamie Briggs moved me out of my rented property into my new home. During the move they damaged a light fitting, ceiling and wall when moving a wardrobe down the stairs. Due to slow response from JB, I was forced to repair the damage myself, as I did not want to lose my deposit with the Landlord. It is now one year later and JB have not compensated me yet.
Their insurance company have contacted me stating that the claim is too small and needs to be settled direct with JB. JB are not responding to any of my emails. I will not be using them again, and would not recommend their services - their customer care is rubbish!!
