My house move was required in very short notice, Scott got this organised for me in less than 2 days. Great communication from the business, kept me informed of when the guys were going to be available. Three very friendly and polite lads turned up and proceeded to empty my old one bed flat( very little furniture) and get my stuff relocated to my new part furnished flat in around 2 hrs. Guys were very conscientious both making sure they were loading the correct stuff but also with there handling and on the drop of end were very helpful making sure the right boxes/ bits and bobs all got to the room I asked for. In summary a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I cannot recommend them highly enough and they will be the first call if I have to move again.

Very disappointed in the service we received. Take the time to read over the contract, you will end up paying for their negligence as we have first hand experience of this as we received our furniture water damaged, damaged or lost, avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs! Moved our furniture from our house into their storage facility and received goods damaged ( chipped, gouged, ripped) and also water damaged ( mould, rust, mildew) have had to replace or repair everything.

I can't recommend Scott and his team at Hugh McClelland & Son enough. From booking our removal to the actual day itself, everyone involved worked very professionally and the communication was excellent from Scott. When we had to change our date he did so which took a lot of the stress away from us and we are very grateful. The guys carrying out the actual removal for us worked like Trojans and were very friendly and ultra efficient - an absolute credit to the company!

Our furniture has gone into the company's storage facility for an unknown period of time as we are having a house built and we don't know when it will be ready and we are looking forward to Scott and his team moving our belongings once again to our new home

I have had the pleasure to deliver here on numerous occasions. Always friendly staff and superb banter. All chip in with maximum complaining. But good mannered complaining.

My father-in-law's house move was delayed 3 times, and each time McClellands couldn't have been more understanding. When the move finally did happen, the team who moved us were just brilliant. Punctual, friendly, efficient, and helpful. When our keys were delayed they took an early lunch (not charged) to give us an extra hour to sort. And at the new house, they took the time to place furniture exactly where we wanted it, even shifting things around to improve the layout when asked. This was such a help for me moving an elderly gent on my own. I wouldn't hesitate to use McClellands again, and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys!

Charged 2.5 hours! did the move within the 2 hours but as they had to get back to the yard they then had to charge another half hour felt this was unnecessary as the move was completed within 2 hours not customer responsibility to be charge travelling time once job is done, not very happy and would not recommend or use again.

I can't recommend Hugh McClelland & sons high enough. They arrived on time and worked constantly to clear our house and then the same at the other side. They were professional and very friendly at all times and were great with my little boy.
