Mike and Sylvia Lane started the business in January 1974 from scratch with one conventional Storage depository and one vehicle. Now, the company comprises of three container warehouses holding over 2000 containers, three self stores, over forty vehicles and over ninety members of staff. Mike and Sylvia have now passed the day to day direction of the company to next generation Mark, Robert and Maria, but are still actively involved in the business.

Very good storage facilities. I used Britannia over several months whilst moving home. My furniture and goods were kept in good condition and I would certainly use this company again. Also used their van hire service-great van and very convenient.

I needed a van at short notice to help with my house move. Nathan and the team were quick to respond and accomodating. The van they lent me was clean, reliable and even though it was what they call a 'small van' still a good size for my needs. Very good service overall, would use again and certainly recommend.

We hired a panel van. It is a shame there are set hours for the daily hire, which meant we had to pay for some time we didn't need, In effect we had to pay for a whole day we didn't need which was costly. When you book the transport via the website it takes you straight to your booking application which gives very little information about times of hire and the full costs, which I feel was misleading as the advertisement says "from 19 daily" when it cost us 72 a day and we also had to pay for excess mileage, which wasn't mentioned either.

Ordered a luton van from Nathan to do a house move. Absolute quality friendly professional service from the start. Vey straight forward to send details and do paperwork. On collection he showed me all around van and how tailgate worked and rechecked on return. Van was rnodern and a pleasurer to drive Faultless service cant rate them highly enough

This is the first 5 star review I have ever done. I never give people 100% scores. Tony and Gary moved our belongings from South Yorkshire to Camborne. A stressful operation was made a lot smoother due to these guys (and Shane for the Camborne end). There is nothing that could have been done by the guys that could have made things any better. A credit to the company. There is no doubt who we will be using to move again and try and insist on Tony and Gary. The price was great, timing fantastic, professional and courteous.

The van was in great condition, the only thing was the van i had booked, was not returned due to Covid, the replacement van was bigger, and used alot more fuel. I always use Lanes, again, great company.

Needed a large luton with tail lift for a local house move. Very easy online booking. Van was ready and waiting fully fuelled and clean. Transactions in office very quick picking up and dropping off. Would definitely recommend. Barry Powell Britannia Lanes are not at this location anymore
