Regular inspection by BAR offices ensure we maintain this high standard. A successful company requires trained staff and at Deane's we are no exception. The British Association of Removers Training Services (BARTS) provide courses for office personnel and Removal crews all Deane's employees must take & pass a Health & Safety & / Manual Handling course.Deane's removal vehicles are purpose built for the transport of household furniture and effects and carry no other goods. They are fully equipped with blankets and ties for protecting furniture while in transit and piano trolleys and sack trucks for moving heavy items.

Many of our customers find the enclosed check list below a great use when it comes to notifying the necessary people of there forthcoming move, we appreciate how busy moving home can be and sometimes it can be difficult to remember just what needs to be done or who needs to be informed. The checklist has been designed so as you can remove it from the folder and attach it to your notice board or leave by the phone. The key to a successful removal is due to careful planning and the use of a reputable removal contractor.
Custom clearance formalities and any duties payable are arranged in advance together with all final destinations. Services including Marine transit Insurance unpacking if required, we can also arrange. Air freight for items that are needed in a hurry. We at Deane's can pack & ship your household goods to most European destinations by direct road transport and for overseas destination either by full or part load sea containers. Regular inspection by BAR offices ensure we maintain this high standard.
If Deane's are to pack glass/china please lay out ready for packing on a flat surface if practical. Unloading; please show removal crew the position you require all items. Any items we have dismantled such as beds/wardrobes we will re-assemble, however we cannot re-lay carpets or hang pictures and mirrors.

Highest praise for the Deane family and staff who moved us from North Wales into storage and on to Dunoon in Argyll and Bute under strictly observed Covid restrictions. Initially, Elspeth encouraged us to visit their storage facility so we could see how our belongings were being looked after. During the removal itself, the team led by Neil, were incredibly careful and respectful with our furniture and other stuff and were unfailingly polite and patient with us even when I was dithering as they were holding up a heavy box. The move was fairly priced and we'd strongly recommend Deanes for your move.

We deposited our goods for 3 years with this company. Upon removals, the most expensive item, namely an electric door, was missing. I have an inventory stating the door was removed to Deannes. Additionally, we had a lot of extra furniture, which could have been deposited in an empty shed, with just a washing machine in situ. Deannes said the storage was full.
Despite my missing electric door, they have not responded to my emails. I have paid 3000 gbp for a near empty shed for 3 years. Do not use this company, unless you are clear how they have stored your effects. Extremely disappointed with their service. Be aware. ADDITIONALLY, THEY INFORMED MY REMOVALS COMPANY TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE PAID AND TO BE CAREFUL OF ME IN CASE I DID NOT PAY. This company is highly not recomended
