I would highly recommend Cliffe's Removals. They were really professional, friendly and helpful right from the beginning to the end of my move. They are extremely reasonable with their prices. I was highly impressed with how carefully the team wrapped up my furniture and moved it from one property to the other. I shall be definitely be using them again for the next move!

Some of my belongings seem to have disappeared within the 7 months that the company stored in a container. When asked about the missing items we were told that we should have taken out insurance but I would have thought that if they were in a secure container there should have been no problem. They take no responsibility for the loss therefore I would NOT recommend them. They also damaged my fence but once again denied that it was there fault.

We used Cliffes just over a week ago and as soon as they arrived at our house I felt the stress leave me. The guys were very professional and we all bonded straight away. We booked this company to provide our house removal and the intial feel was very good. It was always a nervous decision for us as with the uncertainty around Covid and th Stamp Duty, we wanted to contract with a removal company that provided assurance that dates could change and deposits woudl not be lost. Despite the assurances being given and a quote email stating 50 charge for changed dates, wehen it came to the crunch and we lost our removal date, Cliffes decided to take our 515 deposit and make it non-refundable!
Despite us holding a phone conversation with them, whereby they guaranteed that is we informed them by 9am on the friday morning that our deposit would carry over. They hide their T&C's in a document labelled 'BAR Insurance' and seems to me that they wish to take advantage of their unsuspecting clients if removal dates change. ABSOLUTELY would NOT RECOMMEND!

Dont pay for the packing service.do it yourselves. boxes arent always labelled, items packed insufficiently and box contents are mixed causing various items to be damaged/broken and trying to claim via their insurance is a nightmare. The staff, although friendly and polite, arrived later than arranged on both days without explanation. Will answer the phones but still no reply to my latest email regarding compensation.
