Storage can be made available for as long as you need, however, we provision storage space monthly so in most cases there will be a minimum charge of one month. If you plan to store items for an extended period then please let us know as early as you can so we can arrange to keep the space free for you, our storage service is very popular and booking storage in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

We used Turton Removals at short notice to move our belongings from a 3 bedroom house in Heaton. The lads were professional and nothing was too much trouble. All items were fully protected with purpose made bags and padding. Flooring coverings and door protectors were used at both sides of the move to prevent damage to floors, carpets and doors at both ends of the move. I cannot thank Ben and his team enough for making our moving experience as stress free as possible. Thanks!

We booked Turtons for a move in November this year and I was really impressed with their service. In terms of booking them it was really easy to get a quote and they offered a reasonable price. I found Ben really helpful in the run up, he was really responsive and happy to answer questions about packing and the process. On the day, they arrived promptly and were careful, polite and efficient. It made the move much less stressful and I wonder why we've ever tried to move by ourselves in the past!

Turton's moved us from Seahouses to Thurso in September 2022. They were absolutely magnificent; professional, efficient and calm throughout. This was despite a major road hold-up on the road north. Nothing was damaged and we can contrast their performance with that of our new internet providers, who took almost two months to get our service running-hence the lateness of this review! We moved house with Turton's recently. They were very understanding on changing timescales, and last minute contract exchanges. They also were able to support us during a delay in the move itself, which was very much a relief! Ben and Robbie provided two trucks and even showed us how they organised our possessions to keep them safe. They were very thorough - more so than we expected.
Very professional too, but didn't let that get in the way of a good laugh! I couldn't recommend them enough really, and I'm happy that we could add another positive experience to their reviews. Thank you again!

Excellent house move from Ben and team. Hired to perform a 532 mile round trip at great value. They organised a time the night before to start moving items and furniture into the van so that we could leave as early as possible the next day as I had a deadline to pick up the keys for the new apartment. They covered and protected the sofa and mattress and safely moved them out and into both properties and handled all items with care. Ultimately, they are highly recommend and well reviewed for a reason.

We booked Turton's removal for our house move - everything was made easy from booking to the moving day itself. My husband and I were so impressed - they looked after my old house and new house and ensured my things were handled well. They took a lot of the stress away. They even didn't mind me getting emotional! Would definitely recommend and would use again if we were to move in the future.

They have to be the nicest and most professional team of movers I have come across. We will definitely be using them again. We needed a rather large piano moved from passageway to dining room via the garage, 400lb in weight. They moved it with ease. Taking time to ensure it was protected. Absolutely first class.

Ben and his team were awesome managing our house move. We opted for full packing service including dissemble and reassemble options. They worked so hard across two days firstly packing up our household items and, today, finalising the packing up and then managing the unloading and assembling. We were really impressed with their very friendly attitude, professionalism and work ethic. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble and they took fantastic care of all of our items - everything packed carefully and diligently.

I have not hesitation in recommending Turtons Removals and Storage. I ended up storing my furniture with Turtons for a few weeks as I was in between properties. Throughout the whole process Ben was very professional. I booked Turtons removals after having a thorough virtual tour with them. The initial appointment left me full of confidence due to the sheer professionalism shown. I am glad to say I was not disappointed. On the day of the move the team were superb. Nothing was too much for them, my furniture was very well protected, as was the flooring. We received a great service from these guys today, streets ahead of other sometimes cheaper firms that we spoke to however you get what you pay for, they had all the gear to protect our belongings and property. Really detailed service from the first call right until they cleared away once finished. Also really friendly lads, good crack and made the day go really smoothly would recommend to anyone.
