Having moved with one of the so called top removal companies in the UK to Portugal 14 years ago. I can honestly say the two men who did this removal for me left them standing. The booking was done online.
I contacted the office a few days before to check everything was OK. 1 Van 1 Man contacted me at 9.30am on Sunday to say they were on their way and they arrived early for the 10am scheduled time. They wore face masks throughout the move. They were fast, efficient and respectful of the items being moved. I cannot fault any part of their business model. The level of friendliness was reassuring and not once was I made to feel I was being a pain in the backside! Thank you.for your service.

I used 1 Van 1 Man to remove a sofa for me in York and deliver it to an address in Leeds. I was very worried about whether the sofa would fit through the doors, but right from the start, the men were very helpful and reassuring. They expertly manoeuvred the sofa out of the house and because they realised I was very anxious, they phoned me to let me know that they had successfully completed the delivery in Leeds. They couldn't have been kinder or more professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

They arrived on time. They were experts, and they were polite. Dale, Mike and David worked their butts off to get me moved in under the estimated time. They were also very resourceful in getting my sofa through the window as it could not get out the way it came in due to renovations, I had done previous. 1 Van 1 Man Removals are the best in York to choose from.

I would highly recommend using 1 Van 1 Man Removals for moving house. We moved on a bank holiday Monday and the service was excellent! Dale and the team called before they arrived on time, each member of the team introduced themselves and began to start moving everything from the flat. We were on the fourth floor of a set of flats which has no lift and without any complaints and constant smiles on their faces they moved all of our furniture with no complaints.
They also took apart our bed and reassembled this at the new house with no fuss. They were very careful with our possessions and ensured that nothing was broken, everything was packed in order and wrapped in transit blankets. When we got to the new house the same level of care was taken unpacking the vehicle and placing all of the furniture in the correct rooms.
I could go on and on with how wonderful their service really was but I will wrap it up by saying that it was great customer service, a fantastic professional and friendly team, and a very very very stress free move!''

Absolutely brilliant service. Quick, efficient and really nice couple of guys. They listened to everything we asked and advised accordingly. They were really careful with our stuff, and adhered to the "fragile" boxes well. They managed to fit everything in 1 load and packed it all really well so we didn't have to pay for 2 trips or more time. A huge thank you to Dale and Stuart for moving my furniture on Monday. This was the second time I've employed the firm and once again I was delighted with the service that I received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Professional, courteous, efficient, thorough and punctual… are words that spring to mind. A certain amount of my larger furniture would not go up the stairs at my new home but this presented no difficulty to the guys who most expertly dismantled it and then rebuilt it once they'd carried it in.

From my previous hire of other moving company, promises are sometime never kept. This is not the case with this company though. From the initial quote, through to the move itself - everything just went extremely smoothly (which is NOT the case with other companies I have used).
