Specialised Movers provided us with an excellent service when helping us move house. Steve was very professional and thorough when providing us our quote and gave good advice. On the day, the guys moving us were friendly and took great care to look after our belongings. They were also very patient when our keys were delayed during the sale process, which really helped during a rather stressful time. Thanks Specialised Movers!

Critical: Professionalism Arranged a house survey for an upcoming move. They didn't turn up and when challenged there was nothing in the diary even though they confirmed the previous week.

Excellent service Excellent service. 5 stars. Moved our luggage internationally from the UK to Ireland. No damage happened. The luggage came in the same container from door to door and the trucks were not changed. There was some delay on behalf of customs but the specialised movers staff worked very hard to get the desired documentation completed ASAP so that the belongings can reach destination safely.

The staff in Sheffield were extremely supportive, flexible and accommodating especially Sean who was a great help throughout. This service is worth availing for nationwide as well as international moves especially within the EU. Kamran Asghar Shaikh

Just check their company registration number, and what Taylors claim on their website. That's all the evidence anyone needs to see the two companies are the same. It also demonstrates previous comments are actually not true and the true colours of this company. Also go under the name of Taylors Removals. I would never use these guys again. The guy came to see us and was really friendly, advising us about hidden charges other companies have, and how they are not like that, just an honest reliable firm.

We were advised that the insurance wasn't a major issue, if they damaged something they would sort it. Fast forward to a 700 leather chair and 100 office chair that got damaged and things change. Firstly they get the insurance company to point you to the small print saying you get a maximum return of 40 per item. Then advise the damage was already there, and was pointed out to us at the time. An absolute fabrication.

This company may be a bit cheaper but have zero ethics and it will cost you in the long run. Don't be fooled by the Mr Nice smoke screen. The chair that was new to the house and only moved for cleaning must have been done while hoovering. It's robbery is what it is.

Helped get a fridge lifted through a first floor balcony, very professional, knew their stuff

The guys who moved me and packed for me at Christmas were amazing. Unfortunately several items were damaged and trying to get them repaired has been a nightmare. The extra insurance cost does not cover replacement, so 5 months after I moved I still do not have the repaired set of drawers. When I asked to be reimbursed the company did not get back to me.

The great experience started right at the start with the quote. Rob came out to do the quote and was polite and respectful whilst gathered all the details of the job. The quote was more than acceptable and we book in a week or so later. Along the journey of house buying we were delayed a couple of times (took 6 months in total) but that was no problem for Rob, I kept him updated and he just moved us in the calendar each time it was required. Removal day arrived and the two man team, Kev and Kieran, arrived with the van bang on time.

They set up the van so their ramp was connected to our front door step and started packing. I have never seen a pair of lads work so hard in my life. They just kept going! Extremely professional at all times. As seemed to be standard with this move, we seemed to have issues even on moving day. The people we were buying from were delayed in moving out, We didn't completed until 2pm but the sellers weren't ready to move out.

The estate agents spoke to them and explained the house isn't theirs now and they need to be out (long story, but they were finally out by 4.30 to 5pm). The reason I am telling you this is that during this delay both Kev and Kieren were fully understanding and professional. They didn't once complain to us about the wait or late finish it would mean for them.

When we could finally get in to the new house they jumped to work unloading. We said to them to just dump the boxes in any room and we would sort it to save them some time as it was getting on but they insisted on taking them to the rooms we had marked on them. As I say, professional through the whole process. The unloading of the van was complete just after 7pm and the lads were just as professional and polite at the end as they were at the start.

They really deserve more than the 5 stars I can give on here. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future and I will be recommending them to anyone I know who is moving.

We moved from Yorkshire to Devon last October. The 2 gentlemen that arrived on day 1 were with us on time. The vehicle was well presented and immaculate. They worked SO hard at each end of our move and were so patient and pleasant on day 2 as we didn't get the keys to our new home until late in the afternoon. We would highly recommend this company for your removals needs

Had an appointment for someone to come out and quote. 40 minutes after scheduled appointment still no one had arrived. Contacted company to establish why no one had turned up. Was informed there was sickness which is uncontrollable but all scheduled appointments who were affected should have been contacted! Due to my experience with the company, I would not use as came across unprofessional and unreliable.

Very professional and efficient Very large house move over 4 days. Competitive quote and able to accommodate the short notice move. The guys arrived on time or early everyday and worked hard all day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and everything ran like clockwork. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Specialised Movers to everyone and personally wouldn't use another company again!

I used this company after having a quote by Nigel, the owner. His words were, "leave it all to us". It was horrendous from the get go. Very unprofessional. Took ages to get anything loaded. Marked furniture and made out it had been done before removal. Not enough space quoted and we had to wait for another van. Items lost so we could not re build furniture and still can't. Then we had damaged items which turns out NOT TO BE INSURED. Avoid like the plague.

We recently used Specialised Movers for our house move after a recommendation by a family member of ours. From the quote through to the house move itself they were professional, accommodating, honest and knowledgeable. The quote was competitive and on the day the 3 men arrived on time. They worked tirelessly, through what was a horrible wet weather day, to ensure that everything was done to our requests and specifications. I really cannot recommend this company highly enough, they took all of the stress out of the moving day itself. Thank you very much.

The move could not have gone any swifter. The men were polite, professional and courteous. They actually finished ahead of schedule, I guess they don’t call you ‘specialised’ for nothing. Of course, we moved in the worst rain of the year but hey – they say, that’s good luck, right?

I just wanted to express my thanks (and that of all the ward staff including Charge Nurse Healy) to you and your teams for the support and hard work provided in the deep clean and subsequent moves from Ward Q1. It was a difficult move with the complexity of the patients group we have but all staff worked together to ensure patient safety was maintained and limited disruption occurred- some disruption was inevitable but the move there and back ran very smooth.

The deep clean team were excellent in their flexibility in cleaning and HPV’ing essential equipment to enable availability as quickly as possible

I am sorry that we had the hiatus the previous week, but as you know, it was all down to the damn solicitors of the girl at the front of the (short) chain…huh. But I’d like to say how much I appreciated Jamie and Danny’s work-rate…they did a brilliant job and it was a pleasure to help them out a little…..
