I suddenly got my moving day I called a few removal companies but found f.smith and son to be the most professional polite and accommodating. On the day of my move I found the guys to be very helpful polite and was very careful when moving my belongings. I Would recommend this company to anyone and should I move again I would definitely being using them again Big thanks to all the staff.

My mother booked this company for removing some furniture following a bereavement. I highly recommend them, a gentleman named Barry was able to crack a couple of cheesey jokes which lifted my spirits and made me comfortable in their presence. They were good guys and I'd gladly recommend them.

I am delighted to recommend FS Smith for removals. From the quotation visit to moving in, I have been impressed by the professionalism and sheer hard work of Chris and his crew. My china/glass was so carefully packed, along with some extras(!), and moving the furniture in and out was seamless. I got about 3 quotes for our move from London to Surrey and although F. Smith and Son were more expensive than the others, I am SO glad I went with them. The whole process was absolutely seamless and the people involved really know what they're doing. The move was split over 2 days which we really appreciated as it meant we had a bit of extra time between the days to pack up our items.

The team (Barry, James, Bradley, Daniel & Reece) were absolutely quality. Nothing was too much for them and they removed all our belongings with epic care and efficiency. At the other side they did a tour of the house with us to check where items were going. We started unloading at 12:30 and they were done by 3pm! Uber efficiency! They also dismantled the beds and sofas that needed it and reassembled them perfectly.

I can't tell you how good it was to have the bed built and ready to go immediately! I would 100% recommend this company to anyone as they clearly know what they're doing with a shed load of experience. Yes they are possibly more expensive than others but you absolutely get what you pay for. Thanks again for all your hard work team you smashed it.

It is well known that moving house is one of the most stressful things that people can do, and our house move was no different. Countless dealings with Estate Agents, Solicitors and a never ending amount of paperwork. So it was such a relief when the actual move itself to our new house turned out to be the most straight forward part of the whole process, and that is thanks to the guys as F. Smith and Son.

They were friendly and professional from the go. We opted for their packing service, and were so glad we did so. They boxed everything up the day before we moved, making sure we kept out the bits we needed for that night and following morning. Unloading at the new house was equally quick and efficient. We can not fault the guys at all, they provided an excellent service, and I have already recommended them to a friend.

This is the second time I have used F Smith and Son to move house (London to London and London to Hertfordshire) and I really cannot fault them. From the staff in the office to the guys on the ground they are great. I've also had items in store with them for 18 months now and everything was returned in excellent condition. They are slightly more expensive than some companies but you really do get what you pay for. They really go above and beyond for their clients.

They responded almost immediately to my initial enquiry and booked in a video call estimate, which was done very promptly and professionally. Communication with the company was excellent throughout and all staff are very friendly, helpful and polite on the phone. This is quite rare in my experience!

I've had a storage open here for about a year and a half. Needed to come a few times to pick up various things. The staff is amazing, super friendly, helpful, professional. If I ever need storage again, I would go out of my way to use them!

We were moving quite a distance, but all went to plan. The packers the day before were professional and efficient (and patient when I needed something out of one of the packed boxes) and we had plenty of people to load the van on moving day. The only item that was broken was completely my fault when I was unpacking. I would 100% recommend them.

We used F Smith & Sons to relocate from West Wickham to Bognor Regis and asked for a packing and removal service. We had a wonderful experience, the team (which included a very hands on boss!) arrived on Monday to pack the house, garage, sheds and garden and the same continued with us through to Thursday when they unloaded the main part of our home by 1pm.

It was so nice to have the same staff members with us through our journey who were very considerate, helpful, careful, respectful with a good sense of fun but with the upmost professionalism. Smiths relied on me "the client" to send pics of items to be moved, not being a estimator i underestimated the amount to be moved but luckily got a bigger van or my move would not have happened! from a 450 cu ft to a 800 cu ft(moving from a 3 storey 4 bed house), then a old white battered van turned up with only "2" guys to move everything!. TWO blokes to empty a 3 storey house and then unload.

I helped the guys who were great and very hard working to load and unload otherwise they would have been knackered at the end of it. I feel their should have been at least 3 guys there, (my daughter moved a smaller load from the house and had 4 blokes turn up, ).my advice is get a firm that will charge you for the size of van you require and not for every item that goes into it! i had to pay an extra 185.00 plus vat for 3 ikea bits of furniture to be loaded on the van even though there was plenty of room for them.

Apparently its not JUST the size of the van you hire but every item that goes into it as its calculated as square footage, .Next time Hire a friendly mover who will simply charge you for the size of the van you require and assume your going to fill it, & then turn up with 4 blokes to load and unload.

A very professional team, disciplined to chore and conditioned with patience for challenging tasks. However, they have loads of room for improvement especially in assembling items at destination. Felt like few crew members had lack of experience and ended up assembling hurriedly and leaving flat pack furniture lose and vulnerable to damage.

F Smith and Son provided a seamless service in planning and executing our move out of London. Their help and support gave us peace of mind that the day would be stress free. Movers on the day were efficient and friendly. We would recommend to anyone moving in the future.

F. Smith and Son were excellent in their approach to the move. They were very careful with initial surveys and estimates -- and were able to adjust as circumstances changed. The home to be moved was in the UK. I was in the USA. But it was easy to communicate and set up the contract. They were very understanding as the completion date moved away, week after week, until finally it was time to do it.

They adjusted their approach to the circumstances they found, as they worked their way through the packing of our flat. All was done very professionally, and the goods were delivered without a hitch to the warehouse 80 miles away. I would use them again with no reservations.

Couldn't have asked for a better removal firm. From quote to moving day, everything was perfect. The whole team clearly cares about their work and enjoys what they do. They answered questions quickly, were polite and professional in all communications and removers Brian and Ash really did take all the stress away on moving day. We never thought it could be as easy as they made it! Brilliant company, would definitely use again and recommend without any hesitation.

This was no ordinary removals booking. The team collected and delivered 5 fragile 5 ft letters to give our venue for a Charity Ball the WOW factor. Then when it was all over they collected and returned them to the supplier. Nothing was too much trouble and I highly recommend this company.

The removals guys on the day were fantastic, although it was the people in the office who were not as helpful I asked for boxes to be included in the package which they said they could do then after I'd booked they told me all they can do is give me second hand boxes which j had to pick up myself and later found to have maggots in them. They were also meant to deliver cones the day before to reserve a space for the van then was told they wouldn't do that either there super nice until you book and give them money then it's a different story

Smith's moved us from Blackheath to Eltham at the end of March. We were downsizing from quite a large house in Blackheath and so had quite a lot of stuff. Two days before the actual move they started packing and took one load away the following day. We then had a second load on the day of the actual move and the whole process was completed the following day. Throughout the process the team were courteous, efficient helpful and cheerful, despite the amount of work they got through. Would recommend without hesitation.

After receiving a number of quotes without seeing the amount to be moved, I was very impressed by the detail the quote went into. For the actual move, the team were brilliant and very professional, even going above and beyond and taking furniture down to move to a different room. Packing service the day before, took a lot of pressure off the move day itself.

Brilliant removals firm. Ian and Elson did my packing today and they were fantastic. We are moving tomorrow and I couldn’t wish for a better firm. I know that I will be in very capable and friendly hands and it’s made the move much more manageable! Would highly recommend this firm.
