Having been on a comparison site I was directed to City Moves and another company. They both gave quotes and after some conversation, we negotiated a price. I was very grateful to them for that, and everything after that, from regular responses to emails, general customer service, the move itself on both sides was first class. The movers themselves were very quick, they were upbeat and ready for the extent of the work. They were polite and very respectful of the furniture. I would certainly recommend them.

We used City moves for a big move and relocation to Yorkshire. Amazing company. Attentive from the start without being pushy. Very friendly, helpful and careful. There was nothing they wouldn't do or move to help us, including a huge car lift. They never stopped working and were a joy to be around. Would very highly recommend.

We were a bit nervous as this was our first move using a moving service. Moving within south wales. They arrived half an hour early and got started straight away. Very professional, quick and nice people. They didn't have the tools to dismantle the bed, but I wouldn't blame the movers as it didn't seem like they were notified about it before the move. Either way, they didn't take long before fixing the situation and getting on with it. It had no negative impact on the move.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality They have to lost ALL my baggages, blaming their subcontractor, then did nothing to resolve the situation, other than give me a general customer service number for the subcontractor. Suggesting I resolve it myself. They do NOT care about your goods. if you want to trust your goods with a company, DO NOT USE THEM.

I would never use this company again. Un-helpful, inexperienced movers sent to move us, who were not careful, packed things we needed like our essentials box.didn't have any spare boxes. We were given incorrect information about what would be in the van, e.g. a clothes rail and that we had to pack up the content of our Ikea storage boxes when we didnt need to.
Our storage unit contents had not been taken account of in the quote even though we had submitted the contents of it via photos. So it had to be transported a week later after our move. Would not recommend to anyone.

Would just like to thank everyone at citymoves for our move which was recentley carried out, the boys on the days worked very hard in the hot weather and things could not have gone smoother. Excellent Removal company. My first impressions were good and the business delivered an exceptionally good service throughout my first contact. The surveyor, administration team and removal guys were all professional, courteous and most of all efficient in every aspect of their work.
Removal day was not easy with extremely hot temperatures and working under the strain of difficult conditions at the property, but they worked solidly and managed it. I was very impressed and am very grateful. Thank you City Moves.
