This company are superb in every way from start to finish. Tony is a diamond and all the staff you speak to on phone. The removal men were hard working professional and lovely to deal with. This company best there is. I cant recommend them enough. If you need a removals firm choose this one. Thank you to you all.

Professional job done by the team. I was struggling to get annual leave for the pre-removal visit and they went above and beyond to organise a suitable time for me. The residential move was undertaken with care and the lads were friendly and efficient. I can't fault the service we received.

What a great service even though my move wasn't straightforward. A visit from Tony Brierley was easy and quick to assess what I needed in the way of removals. No pressure was put on me. I didn't have a moving date but that was no issue. Once I knew an approximate date I spoke to Jayne and Elle who booked me on the date I gave them. Unfortunately something cropped up with the property I was moving to and even on the Friday before, I wasn't sure if I would have the keys.

On the Monday, Gavin and Malcolm came to pack up my belongings and took my stuff to their depot. Just after they left I was told that I couldn't move to my new property so contacted the office and told them. They arranged to store my stuff and the next day I got the keys so contacted them again. They were able to deliver two days later and all my belongings were in my 2nd floor flat within 3 hours - and there were some heavy boxes as well as furniture.

Every request from office to quote to removals and delivery was met with a pleasant can do attituded and basically nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks to everyone at Anchor xx

Gav, Ant and Andy worked tirelessly to pack everything, move boxes down four flights of stairs and transport/unload the items at the new property all within three hours. Very impressive service- professional, well worth the extra money and made the moving day much less stressful knowing our belongings were in safe hands. Thank you for all your hard work! I want to begin by thanking Ellen, who as our first point of contact via email was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. Britannia were brilliant from the word go and we knew immediately they were the right people to move us. We were given a quote based on a video tour of the house, our belongings and accompanying inventory. This all happened remotely so as to remain covid safe and was so helpful and reassuring as it allowed us to plan and budget for the move.

Following this, due to the changing moving date and various conveyancing delays, Ellen was absolutely invaluable as a contact and changed and delayed our moving day several times without issue or complaint. This I found so helpful and reassuring, at a time of high stress she was always there on the end of an email to tell me there was no problem and to accommodate what was happening. Paperwork was completed online and payment over the phone, the date was set and we dropped the keys off with a floor plan and inventory so the collection could be handled without us being there.

This worked brilliantly and the removal workers arrived at our new home in early afternoon and while we isolated in one room they delivered the boxes into the numbered rooms as designated on the plan with doors and windows open for ventilation. They used carpet coverings and kept everything clean as a whistle and had the whole job completed soo quickly and efficiently.

Everything was moved safely and carefully and the removal workers were wonderful. I would recommend them all soo highly and use them again in a heartbeat. Well priced, professional, friendly and helpful. Anchor are the complete package. Thank you to all and especially Ellen. We appreciate everything you did so very much.

Anchor have been ultra helpful and professional for 2 moves (old house- rental house- new house) in every respect. From Martin who visited to give us a quote, Ellen in the office and our move team Tony and Gavin. I cannot praise them highly enough, always helpful, courteous and willing to go that extra mile to help their customer. A special call to Gavin and Tony, they are total professionals.

Fabulous service, very good price for moving from Bury, Lancs to Cornwall. From getting an initial quote the help and service we got was second to none. Gav and Tony turned up in the big van bang on time and never stopped. Had the whole house emptied in a matter of hours, with respect and good humour. Next day they drove 360 miles and met us in the most horrible wet and windy conditions, did not faze them at all. Had the entire van unloaded in a few hours, again with humour and respect. These guys worked so hard. All we can say is we were extremely satisfied with Anchor, did a great job from beginning to end.

Moved using Anchor Removals yesterday and they were absolutely amazing! From coming out to quote and advise. The care they take in moving belongings on the day was so reassuring to see. Everything is perfectly placed in the correct room the other end and they even checked boxes for us if we had forgot to label the odd one. Couldn’t ask for a better crew. We recently used Anchor for a house removal and they were brilliant. It was a good price and everything went smoothly. The two guys on the day, Paul & Gavin, were excellent - helpful, communicative, hard working. The office staff were also excellent. I would strongly recommend them.

We used Anchor to put our furniture in storage during a renovation. The service from everybody was excellent. Everybody was friendly and efficient and the furniture was very well looked after. Reece and Earl were fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Anchor again or recommend them

Without doubt, my decision to use a professional removal firm was the best made. This firm from start to finish made the whole thing simple to process. Their price was mid-range, but their service was first class. The great team work of Gav, Chris and Dan made the whole transfer removal so simple, effective, smooth and without any snags. We used Britannia on 5/10/18. Really 1st class service by Paul and Nathan. You can get cheaper removal companies. But moving house can be stressful ( an understatement) so I wanted to make the day as easy as it could be. And I wasn't disappointed. Paul and Nathan turned up on time and before we knew it the van began to fill up at a pretty fast rate.

They were friendly but polite, and took control of the whole process, which is just what I wanted. The office staff are also very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Britannia removals.

Can't speak highly enough of this company. Moving house can be a very stressful time but all the staff involved in our move made it much less so. They accommodated us at very short notice and provided a first class service. We paid them to pack for us and I can't tell you what a good decision it was. Everything was packed extremely well with no danger of any breakages.

Our effects were delivered quickly and furniture was even put back together for us at the other end. All the staff were polite, courteous and careful to make sure our requests were met. Great team, great service. Highly recommended.

I absolutely recommend these guys. I used their removal service this month and they did an amazing job. The guys were professional, friendly and hard-working. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Just used Britannia to move with my 6 month old twins, I have moved many times but this is the first time I have used a removal company. First class service, the 3 men that packed and moved us totally deserve a recommendation as they worked very hard in sweltering conditions. I will definitely be using them again, thank you so much.

We've just used Britannia for our home move & I can't recommend them highly enough
After an initial home visit & quote, the packing materials were delivered to our home address with tips & recommendations of how to pack. Come the moving day Paul & Sam arrived on time (even letting us know they were on their way 30 mins previously) with their protective mats & sheets and proceeded to just get stuck in!!

They were so professional with no complaints even tho' the weather was bad. Breaks were kept to an absolute minimum & they didn't even eat all the Penguins!! All our possesssions were handled with such care and if required was covered & protected
We chose to move in the next day & the Guys even beat us to the location!! Nothing was too much trouble - All our items were taken wherever we requested in the house & they even suggested suitable places for move fragile items eg chandaliers went into a wardrobe instead of stacked with everything else.They worked like Trojans & again were fantastically good-humoured
The entire service was as promised from start to finish and really helped take the stress out of a tense occasion and communications were great throughout

Amazing. I was so worried about moving house and how much stuff we have but the guys from Britannia were amazing. They did such a brilliant job and were really nice as a team. We haven't unpacked everything yet but it all seems brilliantly packed and nothing broken. The job went really late but the team kept on going and always had a smile and a hello for our 'helpful' two year old!

Looked at a few companies and prices before choosing this company due to there overall professional appearance and vehicles size etc .they weren't the cheapest but by far the best we chose and made the move very smooth we could not of asked for more .great lads and staff thank you very much.
