Removal men were very helpful and efficient. Came on time and nothing was too much bother.

We booked Hussey's to pack and move us to our new home. We were extremely pleased with the service they offered and the professionalism they showed us. Moving house (especially with children) is incredibly stressful, but Hussey's made the whole process far easier. They were on time, efficient and there were no issues unpacking at the other end We would highly recommend.

I booked Hussey Removals to move everything from my house into storage. A few weeks after this, I went to visit the storage unit and saw a big noticeable rip in the arm of my year old sofa that was not there beforehand. After emailing the company about this, they were incredibly unhelpful and told me there was nothing they could do about it because a few weeks had past since the removal even though the staff members failed to inform me of the rip at the time. Would not recommend this company.

Booked at short notice, these guys were pure class. On time, efficient and very patient. Despite delays in completion, there was never a problem and helped reduce the stress factor which we are extremely grateful for. If you're moving house soon, I recommend this company for getting you through the door. Thanks guys.

Firstly they quoted me 2 men plus 1 van, invoiced 5 men and 1 van, secondly my settee ended up ripped on the top of the arm whilst they were putting it in the storage unit, in which they locket it up after them and put the pad lock on, i went back to the unit 3 weeks later and noticed the rip, at no point did they own up to ripping my settee ( it cost 800 and was under 2 years old ) I emailed Ian Hussey to be told I should of read the t & c, which were emailed to me before the move, I asked Ian to forward me the original email he sent to me before the move to be told he had lost the email out of his sent items, ( conveniently ), as I never received it.

He then said I ripped the arm myself when I went in the store unit, it is placed nowhere near the entrance door, he said he asked the 5 men who he believed before ANY CLIENT. I am a manager for an estate agent and WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND A COMPANY INWHICH LIE AND ARE UNFAIR. I have photos before the move and after the move as proof. I was so excited to be buying my dream home, this whole experience has totally SPOILT IT FOR ME and left me with A BIG EXPENSE!

Booked quite late for our house removal. Most reasonable quote of several. 3 very friendly and helpful removal men arrived on time. Took great care of our belongings. The lads moved us last week and I have nothing but high praise to share about them. They were very professional, polite and provided an excellent service. Although they had to wait for a couple of hours in the afternoon as the sale was going through they were outstanding. I would wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family.

Hussey's were absolutely excellent and I would definitely recommend them. Ian came out and surveyed the property first to give an accurate quote. On the day, they turned up on time, there were 3 of them who worked quickly and efficiently. I was amazed at how carefully the removal van was packed, like a complex jigsaw puzzle. Another thing that really impressed me is for items like TV's, they were not only covered but they were securely attached to the side of the van to minimise any risk of damage.

Also things like sofa's were expertly covered with a purpose built cover. We labelled everything by room and there was nothing either damaged or in the wrong place at the other side, I was really impressed. They even passed me a box that I had labelled as coming in the car with us and I had left in the wrong room - so care and attention to detail was being taken.

The lads were all really friendly and professional and took extreme care with our belongings as if they were their own. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a removal company in Whitley Bay and surrounding area.

Punctual, very careful, courteous, friendly, hard working crew - both in difficult snow conditions and carrying furniture up to 2nd floor flat with lift out of action. Made the extra effort to get the jobs done to our satisfaction. Used them twice.

Hussey Removals were recommended by a friend and I can certainly see why. The team were so helpful, before and during the move and the day went like clockwork. Two vans and a team of five polite, hard working and genuinely nice guys. They took great care with fragile items and they had specialist wrappings for tv etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Would not hesitate to recommend this company. Although I was just moving locally I had some difficult items of furniture. The Victorian piano was so heavy and bulky it seemed certain not to go into a smaller house from where it came, but the lads didn't give up and managed to place it exactly where I wanted. They all worked extremely hard and were helpful and polite. Excellent.

We had a fantastic experience with Hussey's - great service, totally hassle free, not a single casualty with our stuff and the guys went out of their way to help with everything about the move. Ian and his team, principally Mike and Les, moved our furniture on 7th August 2015 and we were very pleased with all of their efficient and careful work. Superb service from a small friendly family firm. Moving house just before Xmas was a bit stressful but it all went without a hitch. Loads of boxes, some packed the day before, and no rush to get them emptied. Well recommended.

Even though we had to change our moving day 5 times, Ian Hussey was very patient and calm during my many phone calls and texts. On the day the van arrived early and Ian oversaw the removal of our large sofas before leaving Liam and Chris in charge of the rest of our move. They were very capable, calm and laid back, but hardworking. Just what you need on moving day! I would have no hesitation recommending Husseys for your removal.

Would not hesitate to recommend. Although it was just a local move I had some difficult items of furniture. It seemed impossible to get a large Victorian piano into this smaller house but the lads wouldn't give up and it was placed exactly where I wanted. They were polite and helpful every step of the way and all three worked incredibly hard. Excellent.

Used Husseys to move a bed, heavy furniture, tables etc from Gosforth to the coast. Arrived promptly and everything was soon loaded into their van and transported to new location. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They even unloaded all items from my car. Very cheerful chaps and will definety use them again if ever needed a removal Company.
