Chris is a civil engineer by education and a chartered accountant by profession. He spent his early career in retail and private equity. It was whilst working in this retail environment as finance and development director of the jewellers, Asprey Group, that he learnt the importance of good customer service.

Kangaroo Self Storage provides secure, clean, dry individual storage rooms from 16 sq ft up. You store your belongings yourself in your dedicated room - which is locked with your own padlock ensuring that only you have access to your goods. Two forms of ID, one should be photographic (driver's licence, passport etc) and the other should have your address on it (utility bill etc).

Great facility, great service at the individual store level. However had to find an alternate storage provider after a dramatic increase in price after one year of using them. The price increase was blamed on the fact that deep discounts were provided initially - if this was the case no one told me we were being given such a deep discount. Complaint emails to their head office went unanswered.

From first contact with KS Brian was brilliant a real can do helpful attitude. Upon arriving at Glasgow unit He went the extra mile with a smile We seriously underestimated our unit size but no problem too Brian We needed a much bigger unit plus a smaller one too All arranged with no fuss or problem whatsoever This storage is clean Well run Lots of trolleys Well lit Lots of parking Exactly what you'll need. I have chosen to use this facility as they had a really good competitive offer. Michelle and Brian were really helpful and friendly. I have used another storage place but they had a penalty if you wanted to move to a smaller unit. There was no flexibility with that company. The trolleys are far superior and bigger and the storage unit is very clean.

This is the 2nd time I have used Kangaroo Storage (Glasgow Shettleston Road branch) - most recently I used them to store items for my house move, and rented a unit for a few weeks. I cannot recommend Kangaroo Storage highly enough - every aspect of the service is spot on, the staff at the site are really helpful and friendly and are always on-hand to answer any questions / queries you may have.
Excellent value for money too - I was quoted a fantastic price for my unit - at first I wasn't too sure that I would be able to fit all my items in a 50sq ft unit - however it's surprising how much you can actually get into one of these things! I was advised that I would be able to upgrade (At a cost) to a larger unit, if need be - as I say, nothing is a problem to the staff onsite, they provide a brilliant service - and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my storage needs.
The units themselves are clean and tidy, as are the corridors / loading bay facilities. It is obvious that the staff take care of the premises. Keep up the good work Kangaroo Storage - very impressed with the level of service received, would definitely recommend the Shettleston Road branch to anyone who is looking to rent a storage unit - you won't be disappointed.
