Mid Wales Storage Centre was established in 1998 - we were one of the earliest self-storage facilities to open in Mid Wales. The building was a former National School built in 1829 with local bequests. Find out how cost effective and easy it is to store your belongings. Packing and organising your items efficiently before placing them into storage will save time and money - here are a few useful tips. Use good quality moving boxes, preferably all the same size so they are easy to stack - and not too big or they will become too heavy to lift. When storing clothes use your won suitcases or Wardrobe Boxes to prevent clothes from creasing and losing shape.

Very good, efficient service. Our household goods were stored cleanly in a climate controlled atmosphere. We were very impressed with the facilities, security and ease of use of the site, and all the staff were very friendly, both in person and via email and telephone. They were very helpful at the time of booking and delivery of the goods, as well as on completion and removal. Thank you very much.

I would highly recommend Mid Wales Storage. Due to some issues with the sale of our house, our moving date was very last minute and the staff at Mid Wales Storage went above and beyond to accommodate us - nothing seemed to be much trouble for them at all. The site was very secure, with measures in place for COVID safety, and the units and corridors were all exceptionally clean.
And any time we saw the staff, they were always welcoming and friendly. Storing our personal belongings there was a breeze from start to finish and we would 100% use them again!

I would highly recommend Mid Wales Storage based on the excellent experience I recently had. Monica and the team were so helpful and flexible with the changes in what we needed when we moved house and needed to store all our stuff for a couple of months. Really friendly, good value and couldn't be more helpful.

Amazing service! They treated us like family and they were happy to accommodate our last minute decision making. I would recommend this service to anyone in the region. The storage unit was tidy and clean, they have security cameras and fans to regulate the air temperature. We lost one of the keys and they trusted us with another copy right away. A big thank you.

I don't usually write reviews but Mid Wales Storage consistently went above and beyond to deliver a great service worthy of recognition. I stored a large number of boxes for almost a year and everything came back to me exactly the way I'd left it. Every time I contacted them I received a friendly and prompt response and they even helped me move my things across the country after my original removal plans fell through. The pricing for both the storage and removals was very reasonable, too. I was very happy and would highly recommend Mid Wales Storage.

From first telephone enquiry to booking in and loading up my unit today I was met with kindness and efficiency, thanks to Monica. I arrived before official opening time but Monica was already at work and greeted me by name. Within two minutes I was given coffee and a plate of chocolate biscuits! As I was on my own, Monica even offered to help unload my van - which I of course refused but really appreciated the offer.
There was ample equipment such as ladders, trolleys etc to make the unloading as easy as possible. Everything was very clean and tidy. Admin processes were simple and efficiently carried out. Exceptional service which I highly recommend. If I could have awarded a sixth star I would have done.
