Jamie and the boys have just left, having moved us from Yorkshire to Newcastle. They were brilliant! They took great care of everything, they were extremely hardworking, really helpful and very nice to deal with - we could not recommend them and the company enough.

Really excellent service from the first contact to the actual completion of the move. The removal operators themselves were extremely polite, kind and very, very helpful - even helping us to plumb in our washing machine in the new property. The cost was money well spent, as the level of service was so professional and they dealt so well with the awkward location of our previous property. We were really glad we chose Pickersgill.

It was the best decision we made using George Pickersgill and sons ltd for our house move. The 4 guys could not do enough for us especially as my wife had mobility issues at the time.
Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were all extremely courteous but also very friendly. The hard work they put in made it very much easier for us.

Recently moved house with Pickersgills. They were great from start to finish. Karen was very helpful in arranging the details and dates. When it came to the actual move, Will and Norman were brilliant. The whole process went very smoothly and I would definitely recommend Pickersgills for your move.

Fantastic removals company. The team had our old house packed up in two hours and our new house unpacked in three. All very friendly lads, really helpful and made sure we were satisfied before they left. Would definitely recommend if you want a stress free move!

Great customer service. Very speedy collection of the many boxes we had after moving. Rang in the morning and they were collected that afternoon. Pickersgill are members of BAR (British Association of Removers). They all collect and re use the boxes of other companies belonging to the association.

We got totally messed around with this companies lack of in house communication. We were totally flexible with them. they couldn't even manage to collect 8 items for storage ( 2 hours job ), within a 3 week window and there only 3 miles away!. Just fobbed us off and left us in the lurch. Didn't even have the courtesy to get on the phone and even try to help.

Helped us move house a year ago - friendly, did a great job (no breakages or damage) and good value. Got them back in today to move a superking mattress up two flights of stairs (the delivery company said it wasn't possible without removing banisters) but they managed to complete the job with no damage. First class!

We moved house on Monday and couldn't have asked for better service! The lads (Matthew and Will) turned up at 830 and had us fully moved in by 1230! So impressed! They were polite and friendly and made the whole thing look effortless. They were also later joined by two other lads who had finished a job nearby and came across to ours to lend a hand. I cannot thank the chaps who moved my father from Farsley to Pickering (12/10/2018) enough. They were so respectful.nothing was too much trouble.excellent level of service. I would highly recommend this company.it made a huge difference to an otherwise difficult move.

Following our move at the end of last week I wanted to take a few moments to send a thank you note and compliment you on the team you sent to do our move. The team arrived exactly when you said they would and very quickly surveyed what needed to be moved so they could plan the loading, they then got set up and got straight into it. The guys were fabulous, totally professional, courteous and helpful, they progressed through the loading ensuring they "improved" any packing that needed a tweak where we had not quite packed as we should have (only a couple of boxes but it's all great service).

The guys even helped sort a small issue when we removed the washing machine, again a 2 min job but very welcome assistance when you've packed all of your tools!. The care and attention they put into loading to ensure nothing moves in transit is amazing, their expertise shone through very clearly. The unloading was a smooth as the loading with the guys ensuring everything went exactly where we wanted it, again taking care not to damage anything and ensuring we were happy throughout the process.

The only damaged item we had on the day was something that dropped out of the back of my car!. In my role as a global operations manager I work with a lot of different people / suppliers around the world so am only too aware that often companies can fall short of the the service they try and deliver. This was certainly not the case for Pickersgill, the team were fantastic and we could not have wished for things to have gone more smoothly.

It would be no exaggeration to say they really made the moving day an enjoyable and stress free experience, which is all down to their clear experience and expertise. I'll certainly have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone that requires removal, in fact we've already done so to someone we know that is moving soon. We had a couple of quotes from other removals companies as you would expect and we felt that the team at Pickersgill were always the most professional in dealing with us, hence our selection decision, we certainly made the right choice. Please pass on my thanks to the team that helped make our day, they are a team you can be exceptionally proud of.

I booked George Pickersgill Removals for my recent house move and I would throughly recommend them. From Phil making a professional and informative estimate of how our belongings should be packed up, to Karen in the office patiently answering all my stupid questions, and moving day (we moved to a house on a main road with limited parking and access to the property, so not an easy task) where Cieran and the team were friendly, professional, helpful and incredibly efficient, it was the most stress-free moving experience I have ever had.

The only problem I faced was trying to decide where in the bedroom I would like them to put my wardrobes once they had rebuilt them for me! Good job guys - you thoroughly deserve 5 stars!
