Bournes came in person to do an assessment of the property which was reassuring. The team in the office were helpful. The team who came to load were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, we had no breakages and anything which was taken apart was put back together.

I had to ship half a container-load of household effects from England to Malta in July/August 2021. Bournes were exceptionally efficient with everything. Andy was very quick in providing the estimate and dealing with the order. Arunee kept me regularly updated with progress while the boxes were being shipped. The local agent at the Maltese end was similarly efficient. On top of all this, the price was competitive. Very glad I chose Bournes.

Moved London to Sydney with Bournes and the packaging was amazing: 2 or 3 layers on artwork for example and a mirrored chest of drawers expertly boxed.
Zero breakages after shopping and 6 months storage with Conroys , their Aussie agent/partner.

We used Bournes when we moved house 2 years ago, we'd had a baby 2 days earlier so were pretty stressed but they were so professional and went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly! We used their packing service for the move which was incredible, well worth it as it saved us SO much time. When we needed a large sofa collected recently we knew they were the right people to ask, they were so helpful and managed to get it in our living room respite it being a very tricky manoeuvre! Overall they provided an amazing service with staff who are prepared to go the extra mile, would definitely recommend.

The organisation at head office was first class and then when it came to move the communications provided us with the right information so that I could plan my working day around the movers. We used Bournes for my parents’ move, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the initial meeting and quotation service, to managing the timing and smooth transition through the actual event. I cannot praise highly enough the team of guys who carried out the packing and removals over the 2 days. They were totally professional, considerate and respectful of not only all the possessions and the care with which they packed and moved them but just as importantly, of my parents, moving from their home of 35 years which has been an emotional time for all the family for many reasons.

However their attitude, sense of humour and fun was a complete tonic and made a stressful process so much easier and indeed, enjoyable. Thank you Freddie,Phil, Pete,Rory and Darren - you were fantastic!
