We used Britannia Bearsbys for a house move from Gravesend to Aylesford and they were fantastic. Definitely worth the extra for this service over a 'man and van' removal. We had a video call with Ralph, who was very helpful and professional. The video call allowed him to assess our needs and property while being Covid-safe. The next day we received our quote and we were able to secure a date immediately.

The movers on the day arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully to clear our home and then unpack at the other end. They too were very helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others, thank you for making a stressful day a lot less so!

Received great service when they helped move my mother in law into her new flat. Friendly, helpful. The guys doing the move went that extra mile.

Dreadful experience. House move from Italy to UK. Customer service good and transporters punctual. BUT upon arrival in the UK, several pieces of antique furniture had sustained severe damage, including shattered glass cabinets, chair legs snapped in two, bookshelves splintered and sofa torn. Thousands of pounds worth of damage. Battled to get 970 via Bearsby's insurance company and Bearsby themselves ceased contact. Shocking service.

These clowns were doing a job outside my house. As they couldn't find a suitable space to park the drivers mate took it upon himself to bump a neighbours car 25 feet down the road. When challenged he became abusive, shouting and swearing. Eventually he was picked up by another van and taken away after numerous people complained. His behaviour was shameful. Absolutely classless and vile. Wouldn't use this company if these are the creatures they employ. Avoid at all costs.

We could not be happier with the service we had from Britannia. Right from the initial phone call to book in the surveyor, to the follow up calls after we moved. Ralph initially came out to survey what was to be moved and to quote us and to provide plenty of good advice. Not only was Britannia's quote the most competitive we received, it was more thorough and the extras (such as late key insurance and cancelation insurance) were also more competitively priced.

When booking, Britannia was as flexible as they could be. This certainly helped with the stress of getting a confirmed completion date that worked with the removals. On the day the removal guys (Paul and Tyler) were just amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They took very good care of our items and very good care of the house we were moving from and too.

They had a professional, happy and (most importantly) stress free attitude and just made the day so much easier. If you haven't had Britannia out to quote for your move, do so! They deliver on what they say they will do and beyond. They are a great company with truly wonderful, caring staff. Superb experience from start to finish with these guys. The salesman was polite and informative, gave us options as opposed to try and force services upon us. On our moving day the crew that turned up were beyond efficient and nothing was a problem for them, any of our worries were soon quelled. Before unloading at the new house all the carpets were covered with tape so as not to mark them.

We paid for full packing which we did not get. The packet did half the job and then walked off leaving my house unlocked. I'd offered to leave a set of keys and had refused as "I'll be here until you get home". The next day we were threatened with extra charges as the moving staff had to complete the packing which made the while day run later. The office staff fobbed us off completely and were disinterested in our complaint.

In the end we had to pack the remainder ourselves to avoid paying a late fine. This company do not care about their customers and are not interested in providing a service or responding to problems.

They had the quotation out to me very quickly and were always on hand to answer questions whenever needed. The guys were great. They were quick and happy to go the extra mile for us. I was dreading moving house, i'd heard all the nightmare stories about removals companies and was really nervous about trusting someone with my families belongings. Ralph came out to give me a quote and completely reassured me, the guys on the day were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We have moved three times in the past 10 years and have used Bearsby's each time, most recently in March this year. We have always found them to be friendly and helpful, we felt that the guy that came out to give us the quotation was honest and realistic and gave us confidence that things would be handled well. On the day the movers were great, my house is on an awkward street and they seemed to take it in their stride. It's nice to use a local company that know the area and remember us! I would recommend Bearsby's.

I used bearsby's recently and they were great - they were very punctual when they moved me into a 2nd storey flat and I found (even with all the problems of getting the stuff up there!) they were professional and hard working! Would thoroughly recommend!

We moved from Kent to Plymouth and were very impressed with the removal service. The removal men were all very professional, friendly and efficient. All our furniture had to go into storage and they packed it in so well we were able to have smaller units than planned which helped to save us money. Well done Brittania Bearsbys, we would definitely recommend.
