The company was founded in 1921 by Mr Edward Hall a mobile greengrocer from Westhoughton. He began by moving single items at weekends and this gradually increased until finally the removal business overtook his greengrocer business. Over the years the family owned business, now in its third generation, has gained in size and strength. We combine our professionalism and vast experience of the removal and storage industry with the friendliness and customer focus of a family run firm. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

When it comes to moving home size and space are at a premium and today's modern furniture sometimes does not always fit into rooms of choice at Halls Removals we recognise and understand this problem and have the knowledge tools and equipment to provide you with a fully bespoke dismantling and reassembling service on certain items of furniture.
All of these items should be taken down in advance for example: Curtain poles/Pictures/Mirrors and any other items fixed to walls and ceilings. Dismantling and re-assembling of this kind of furniture where required is not covered in our quotation, and therefore should be undertaken by yourselves or a qualified trade person at your discretion.
At Halls Removals we aim to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum as possible while still providing the same high quality of service you would expect that's why the majority of our products are bio degradable. Other products we use for example china paper - hanging garment carriers - export wrapping paper - over card and cardboard cartons are all taken to a local waste packaging contractor to be recycled and any other products - materials - furniture, etc. to a local waste transfer station to be sorted ready for recycling.
Moving home is something you don't undertake on a routine basis, so we've prepared a basic guide to some of the questions you may have. The average time frame is about seven to fourteen days to make a booking depending on our schedule. We can provide an assortment of packing materials all of which are delivered to your home prior to removal day.

I can't thank Halls removals enough, they arrived on time and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. The 3 lads that came worked so incredibly hard even though there was a heatwave, and never stopped until the job was completed. I found them to be very pleasant and were only to willing to see if there was anything else they could do for me. I put my trust in them completely. I would have no hesitation in recommending Halls removals to anyone thinking of moving house.

BEWARE! had to cancel my move and still waiting for refund of my money 2 months later. Now advised I have to put my request in writing to the owner, who is away for 3 weeks! Appalling service especially at a very vulnerable time when having to leave my marital home and start over again. I will try writing and then next step solicitors. Sad as the fella operating the phone line very helpful but still I'm out of pocket when I need the money the most. following the post money returned thank you

Had Halls come and do a house move for me. Nothing short of excellent service, really helpful guys on site and well worth the price paid. Would not hesitate to recommend Halls to anyone that asked for a removals recommendation. Carl and David get a mention for their witty banter, friendly attitudes and excellent work ethic. Hi I used halls removals to put the contents of my house in storage, due to time constraints I opted for their professional packing service. everything was wrapped and protected and handled with care all items delivered from store in perfect order very impressed from start to finish. We recently decided to move home but couldn't find anyone to help us with the furniture, some of it being old we had to be cautious when it came to hiring a removal service. A friend of my partner recommended Halls Removals and we decided to give them a shot, we were not disappointed. The team is highly professional and friendly, they handled all of our goods with care and transported them to our new home, no scratches or damage what so ever!
I was very pleased with their services and quality of work as well as their transportation, after filling out a simple online survey they knew exactly the size of vehicle to use so we weren't overcharged for a bigger one, not that their rates are expensive, for what they do it's very affordable. Brilliant work guys, when we move in the future we'll know where to come!

We moved with halls a short distance I was thinking about doing it myself because we didn't have much stuff to move, but my father suggested I give halls a ring too get a quotation. One of their surveyors came out and advised us what size van we would need.their price was not has expensive as I thought and it saved me a lot of hassle of hiring a van.thanks for a great job well done.
